You can get around local blackouts when using nhl gamecenter or the mlb equivalent. For reliable cable less live sports you really need to subscribe to these services however at 99$ (or 79 if you are from soviet russia ) for nhl gamecenter it is still a lot less $ than a years worth of cable bills. We cut cable a while back and dont miss it one bit. As for smart tvs my opinion is they are kinda dumb and you are better of getting a "dumb" tv and putting the savings to a dedicated streaming device like a roku. Smart tv software gets outdated fast and the user interfaces tend to be slow and kludgy compared to devices designed for streaming.

Its best to have two or more accounts. One that you use for general interney stuff like signing up to forums and another for personal emails that you dont hand out freely. Gmail is pretty good ive found

Teksavvy (my isp) must have inherited an ip block that is either banned on OFC or part of a broader IPB filter used here. A dhcp renew didnt give me a new ip so it looks like i am stuck for now

the really odd part is when I use my phone as a hotspot and access from the same PC I get in fine. which makes me believe it's my IP address that is the culprit.

It won't let me change themes either. same error message. There is one more possibility that you have clued me into here TJ (lightbulb went off).. DNS spoofing service also does adblocking. Gonna see if I can disable that temporarily. edit: disabled it, the charming russian brides are back.. but same error msg.

the adblocker is off TJ you can make out the luremaking.com ad. i'm having the same issue regardless of which browser I try.. IE (gasp) has never even had a blocker installed.

ok that is the adblocker issue but can you please check to see if my IP is banned LOL!! my issue is separate (and the fact that I am writing this, goes to show how useless IP blocking is.)

ok there are two issues as far as i can see. 1) my ip address appears to be blocked 2) the brown/default skin appears to not work with adblock I had to search for the button to change skin, found it, changed to mobile and now I can see but not while using my own IP address.

I get you are not allowed to visit this community. Pretty sure its an ip ban like gerrit said. Tried with and without adblock. If i use phone as hotspot and connect that way all is good. You are all blocking a huge teksavvy block if this is the case. 23.233.xxx.xxx

Perhaps an ip filter? Can only access via phone. If i connect phone to home wifi then no joy. If y'all wanna get rid of me just ssay so.

Apologize for jacking the thread and maybe a stupid question for Dan if I am understanding right, I'd run a + and - from the (4) black and (1) white to the battery & run the (3) brown, (5) yellow, (6) green and another ground to the existing trailer wiring. Am I correct?

that's brilliant Dan. Can you elaborate on that? I have the round 7 pin plug on my grand cherokee, I plug in a 7-pin to 4-pin adapter to it then plug the trailer into that. How would I do what you describe?

yes all GPS units will give you speed. if the map chip you put in your GPS unit has the lake you are on mapped, then yes it will show you shoals/obstacles/depth.. with varying degrees of accuracy (from good to what do you mean there's a rock there? the map show 30').
