  1. nicely done cookslav!
  2. Not sure there are pike in Guelph. Bass, carp, catfish and panfish. Belwood would be my choice.
  3. NW ontario or Kesagami. Otherwise, L. Huron.
  4. Yes. Eagle = Lowrance. The product Roy mentioned should work with it.
  5. i've been using uni-to-uni but they say the albright is better for lines with a different diameter. uni-to-uni has worked without failure for me though. http://powerpro.com/using/knots.asp
  6. yes. nippissing is charted. i am not sure if the navionics (lowrance) charts have come out for it yet but garmin has had them for a few years.
  7. small pike are the ones that get ya for sure. grab them behind the head and tehy usually freeze up on you. Never a bad idea to carry hook cutters with you. i dont think gloves are a good idea. first, you lose a lot of "feel" for what you are doing when working away. 2nd, what happens when the hook goes through the glove with fish attached? you're now attached to the fish via a glove. some of these gloves are "cut-proof" yet the hooks will still go through them. What then?
  8. Who provides the hosting Rick??
  9. al gore please fix the internet!
  10. anchor buddy is what Terry is refferring to.
  11. hows about we don't ASSume. Ontario's a big place.
  12. can't help ya with the river but when i was 12, my biggest concern was dolly parton's bust size.
  13. that looks like a job for duct tape.
  14. just my opinion but for occasional muskie fishn, as long as you are not going nuts with lure size and weight I think it will be fine. i do spy a lot of plastic on there and if you plan on fishn for muskie a lot, then i would look elsewhere. looks like a fine bass/pike reel.
  15. usps ground is cheapest but takes the longest. gifts or warrantee have no duty.
  16. we've been fishn of course. pike opens this wknd.
  17. after opening the thread, I hoped the P was there. It was. nice haul of stuff.
  18. douG & Dax you guys will love the lumix. I've the FZ7 (also bought from Dave) and I think it's a great cam.
  19. just my 0.02c but with baitcasters you are much better off spending a few more dollars and get quality. dont skimp, you'll have less frustrating moments on the water. if you dont have enough right now, save some more pennies.
  20. Nice work everyone.
  21. what google ads?
  22. Wow Brian. Sorry to hear. Big Cliff said it but I'd like to offer my condolences as well. Congrats on 2-5 as well.
  23. I recently bought the FZ7 and love it. I am sure the FZ8 is great. I'm sure you're aware of the various Digi-Cam review sites on the internet doogle. The panasonics score well and the leica glass is said to be one of the best.
  24. sorry guys. i'll never cheer for the senators. I cheer for TO, Calgary and whoever is playing the Sens. I am hoping for a Calgary / Buffalo final.
