the most amazing instrument produced by man I remeber as a kid going to tatooes at the CNE grandstand or anywhere else(fergus) its funny before i read this i had put in a cd of bagpipe bands from around the world i listen to it about once a month at work or in the car we had a guy on our boat that was a pipe major and he used to pipe us in and out of port for the 2 years he was on board something very cool about coming into a port as the sun comes up with a piper on the bow and a canadian flag flying high it will be the last thing playing as they roast me or lay me in the ground LONG LIVE THE PIPES!!!!!!!!!

whatever you buy make sure it comes with a NEMA output this will send position data to your radio if it has DSC (little red panic button)you will want to get an MMSI number for your radio so it ties your boat to the signal makes it eaiser for rescue services to find you on the water Just my 2 cents

I want to thank everyone who responded to my query. I always knew but this has renforced what I have felt all along that this is not just a forum or a message board but a group of friends. I have to admit I checked a few times last night to see what was said and at one point my eyes welled up. YOU GUYS/GIRLS ARE FREAKING GREAT!!! Just so all know this is a first for me and no matter what I love my son unconditionally,we do talk all the time and he is a well rounded kid. This is just a little weird for me thats all just another whirlwind in life to ride I'm sure not the last.Thanks again all that responded. So here is one for you I need some guidance Im going way out on a limb here and I do so because I have met tons of great people here and feel as though im part of an extended Family I have known for a long time that my son likes boys. That is okay with me I have no problem with that its nature and it is what it is. What I'm having a real problem with is the fact that now he is dating. Now dont read anything into this because im only asking for advice on my end he's got his end figured out. I'm old school and for me this type of open sexuality did not take place when I was younger sure it was going on but it was in the closet so to speak. Im trying to get my head around the snuggling and kissing thing which to be honest even on TV gives me the sort of hebegebees. I love my son and want all the best for him and I really would like to get past this feeling but I dont know if I can its so far ingrained in my physce. Any suggestions on this would be great. Im not looking for any comments from those that are anti gay but insight from anyone who has dealt with or is dealing with the same thing. If I lose friends by this which I am told is often the case so be it. You werent worth the effort anyway. Peter
