  9. I have been a member of OFC for a while now and havent posted too many reports of my own. This year i have been fishing a lot more and have recently dusted off my camera and began to take pictures of my catch. Last week we did some night fishing for walleye, and also got out for some largemouth bass. The first picture is of my walleye 27 inches 8.4 lbs on the scale.
  10. next time you go try throwing some x-raps and husky jerks ive done very well with both lures there in silver blue color. Nothing too big but pretty constant action and a lot of fun. Good Luck out there bassmaster4
  11. nice walleye and welcome to the board! i find that the fishing can be pretty good there from shore at least you just have to walk and do some bushwacking. I like to use x-raps and skitter pops there thats what i get the smallies on some largies too.
  12. i dont know if its just the lighting in the picture but either way the bass in the 2nd picture has amazing colour, way to go dude!
  13. ive had great success on the perch lure medium size 3-5' for pike as well as the pumpkinseed 3-4' lots of pike and oos smallies and largies so far cant wait to use these up in gowganda next week
  14. i like the silver blue color for pike
  15. i agree they tend to come apart but from my experience they mostly have come apart at my fault, i was removing a snag and it flew out and smashed a log, it wouldnt swim right. Ive caught a lot of pike on them this year and the only thing that has gone wrong with it is the paint job and the feathers on the tail are gone. It is a good lure, just not a very durable one for people whos gear takes a beating.
  16. well said, i 100% agree with you on that
  17. that thing definately ended up on their dinner table judging by how he is holding it...
  18. I've been fishing a lot at a certain body of water, all of the pike and bass im catching have a very faint color on them, very pale. I have some photos but they are on my phone and i cannot put them on here. This pike that i caught today had the same color as a muskie although i could tell it was a pike, is this just fish being exposed to light or something or does this mean the fish are unhealthy, just curious as to why the colors are not as vibrant as fish that i catch in other places. p.s i was not targeting bass for they are out of season they just happened to strike my x-rap and i noticed they were also light colored. thanks bassmaster4
  19. same happened here i ordered four of the triggerfish and shipping was like 21 bucks freaking rediculous my total was over 70 dollars for 4 lures
  20. I just ordered the perch and baby bass colors cant wait to try them out!
  21. my favorite lure to throw out is any lipless rattle bait, i began using them years ago and slayed the largemouth on stoney lake, ever since then i keep myself nicely stocked up with them. My favorite would have to be the cotton cordel suspending spot in texas red. Lots of success with these lures.
  22. gulp has worked a lot better for me. i bought 3 packages of trigger x last season and had very little luck with it.
  23. just picked up two of the frogs both the soft and hard as well as a pumpkinseed crank they look terrific cant wait to try them out
  24. I know i am asking this a bit early but im too excited not to. I was looking around for a cottage to rent up north this upcoming summer and decided on going to Auld Reekie Lodge located on Lake Gowganda. How is the fishing there?
