  1. I was getting em shore fishing in dunnville, some of them were pretty chunky.
  2. You know what I don't don't doubt it, bernier has emerged to be the better of the two goalies and clearly is keeping us in this one, we're hanging by a thread right now mind you. He probably could've kept us in a couple of the last 5 as well but the team as a whole was blowing it with poor play in all parts of the ice. It's hard to point the finger at just one guy and say it was him who blew the playoffs, even though they could still make it.Edit: as the third goal went in a bad pinch lead to it and we've given up 30 shots in not even half a game played case and point
  3. This is proof to all the Reimer haters that he was not the only problem 23 shots in one period they're skating circles around us in our own zone, lucky to be down 2-1 only, thanks to bernier with no help from anyone else. The second one was IMO a softy but the goalies are constantly being hung out to try by the defence, not to mention the top line isn't doing much lately. This whole team has been undeservingly winning games all year long and it's finally catching up to them at a crucial part of the season. It will most likely cost them the playoffs.
  4. Thanks, looked on Google and the only thing that comes up is sunset farms I saw they had cabins so it might be the same thing. If not could you post me the link please. Thanks
  5. Hey guys, Me and a few buddies want to go to bay of quinte for some walleye but lots of google searching has turned up nothing for ice bungalows or hut rentals with overnight stays (weekend). Was just wondering if anyone could recommend a place, does bay of quinte even have ice bungalows. Not looking for anything guided. Thanks in advance
  6. Hey Guys, I've been out on cooks bay a few times alrdy and I know the ice is pretty thick, was planning to get out again this Saturday but the forecast is calling for rain. Just wondering if anyone has any input on what rain can do to the ice. Should I stay home? Thanks
  7. As was already stated it works out better financially to get both at once, and your A/C will cool better and run more efficiently teamed up with a high efficiency furnace.
  8. When i bought my sonar unit about a month or so ago, i was looking to upgrade the navionics chip but was told that there was going to be a new one coming out soon for all of ontario as long as the water system has been charted. Im not sure when the release date for that is going to be.
  9. nothing drilled about 20-30 holes marked 3 fish very briefly on my sonar, fished from 56 to 122 feet of water.
  10. You can park pretty much anywhere up the road, its quite a walk. theres a residential side street that people park on at the very end of the road by the water. When i was there last weekend there was a huge crack right at shore but it was safe to walk around it. hope this helps
  11. Hey guys, I'm looking to buy a Lowrance sonar unit, It comes with Navionics but it only covers the Great Lakes, Simcoe etc. I do a fair amount of fishing on smaller northern lakes around the Gowganda area and was just wondering if they would have a chip or whatever it is that i could buy that would have some of those lakes before i buy anything. Thanks bassmaster4
  12. What happens with all those players who are playing in Russia and the other leagues? Do they just leave and come back to the NHL?
