About 10 years ago Kitchener and area had amazing bass fishing along the grand river but due to industrialization, overfishing and access its not the same, but there still are great locations that you can find by walking down the river
I've never went pier fishing for steelhead in march before, recently some has informed me that you can fish them now because the seasons open. Are there many people out there this time of year? or just on select rivers that have opened seasons? I'm talking about lake Ontario tribs btw. I'm not asking where the best places are just if it is a common method this time of year. Thanks
Who thinks the conditions will be good this weekend? I am unsure if the water will still be too high and that's its pretty cold . Its probably still murky on the east shores I presume?
I was thinking about hitting some Huron tribs tomorrow, and I heard access on the maitland was limited because of the tornado? Can anyone give me any info on the conditions? . pm me
thanks for the info guys, some people say the salmon hit the lure out of aggression on the piers but the female I caught had the glow spoon down its throat almost
I know how to cure them (i use salt and brown sugar), i just wanted to know if there was a specific way to separate them, is it better so separate them then cure them?
I caught a nice female chinook on the piers today, had lots of eggs but in skein form, how do i cure it to get it loose to use in roe bags? they aren't that tight, also i caught 2 other males on my home made glow spoons
