it is my understanding that you can not use a photo copy of a BC for a passport application i believe it says that right on the application.

As are mine, I moved from Toronto to Brampton in 1982 sold the place 5 years latter for a 110K profit that more than covered any travel expenses, then moved to Orangeville and it was the best thing i did it`s a wonderful community to raise a family and as far as an commuting i will take a commute from Dufferin County any day of the week versus the 401,QEW,DVP etc etc. I am looking to retire in about 7 years or so and i will be on the move again sorta like Port Perry or perhaps the Nippissing area.

Sorry i can not help anybody that is hung up in the passport jungle but for those who are thinking of getting a passport the best way is to do it at the Post Office i did mine back in October and it took 20 minutes and i had my passport in a week or so it cost a little more but consider the alternative.

Tile floor in the basement = cold feet but like Eddyk said make sure you seal the floor with proper sealer not just paint even still if your basement has high humidity or dampness you may have problems with the peel and stick variety tiles. You may want to consider cork flooring i have it in my bedroom and it is nice and warm and it is easy to keep clean, i don`t know if it suitable for the basement you`ll have to check that.

By the looks of the Port Perry weather forecast for the next couple of weeks it looks like there is not going to be any SAFE ice for some time, i tend to be overly cautious when it comes to walking on the ice i like 7-8 inches of "blue ice" not 5 inches of soft "white ice". I would like to die of natural causes and not a hypothermia induced coma. Play safe!

Before i bought my rig i looked into this option and i concluded that it was not worth it to for me to buy in the USA the main reason being the warranty if you need warranty work done the Canadian dealers will not honor the warranty, now if you are thinking of buying a used rig where no warranty is offered thats a different story.

Fish every weekend from the Walleye opener till closing and everyday i am on holidays. Try and fish Simcoe more and hook into a 7 Lbs. Smallie. Try and get out to the BOQ in the fall. Try Trout or Salmon fishing at least once.

LOL! and so true on both statements i have 3 sons still living at home and they are taking full advantage of the situation but i keep warning them retirement for me is not too far off and they should start to think about saving some money so they have some place to go when i do retire, for some reason they had it in their collective heads that when i retire mom and i were just going to move and leave the keys to the house to them. LOL not going to happen boys.

My personal opinion is that rust proofing is one of the biggest wastes of money going. I prefer to just look after my vehicles keep them washed and keep the nicks touched up and add a good wax.

Well i just got back and let me tell you i won`t do that again,BPS was busy but it wasn`t too bad but the parking lot was a joke especially on the way out. I was a little disappointed in the sale to be honest i was looking to pick up a couple of baitcasting combo`s on sale but nothing decent to be found. I did pick up a Bionic blade spinning rod for 40 bucks off and a nice Quantum KVD for 30 bucks off. Also picked up some nice shirts at 15 bucks off.

I got a whole wack of BPS gift cards as well so i was planning on going tomorrow(after the hockey game) to get a bunch of stuff i really don`t need i hoping they have some nice combo`s on sale.

I own a console full windshield rig now and i love it,its nice on those long runs on cold mornings. My previous rig was a tiller and it was great for fishing lots of control but those long runs on a cold morning were no fun.

i learned how to swim the hard way when my uncle threw me into Lake Simcoe when i was young lad, i almost drowned when i was 8 when i got caught in a under tow while swimming in a river saved by a guy who was having a picnic with his family if that fellow would not have seen/heard me i would have been a fish food, that episode never held me back i loved swimming and still do was on the swim team in high school, just got back from the Domincan a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed a week of swimming in the reefs and the ocean surf nothing like swimming in the ocean. I hate being a newb again!

Got myself a Shimano Ultralite combo and a Quantum Accurist and a couple of new ice fishing combo`s plus the usual 500 dollars or so of tackle i didn`t really need. And of course the big purchase my new pride and joy my Alumacraft Navigator with a 90 Yamaha 4 stroke.

We stole 2 points there tonite boys we didn`t deserve them but i will happily take em. Best play of the nite Boullion dropping *ucker i mean Tucker with that nice right hand!!!!!

Nice to see they debunk the battery on concrete myth! I am still amazed at how many people still believe in this myth.
