  4. At 700 bucks a pop they can keep their voodoo science and I will keep Shimano`s and their lifetime warranty!
  5. Wonder why they would use Scandium it is fairly rare and expensive and demand out weighs production. As far as a rod bending like they claim who cares I don`t bend mine like that.
  6. I recently purchased a Shimano combo from LB`s Shimano Sedona 2500 reel and a Shimano Convergence rod total price 109.00 Seems like a good combo for the money plus the rod has a lifetime warranty!
  7. What no pictures of the footware????
  8. I tried to get in touch with the good folks at the CSFL about one of there upcoming events and never recieved a reply!
  9. Big money requires sponsors with deep pockets and sponsers with deep pockets want a good ROI and to get that you would need a good TV deal so they can promote their wares and I fear the market here is just too small.
  10. Yes very nice smallies indeed but I got tell ya man ditch those dancin shoes no self respecting tournament pro should be caught dead wearing those things!LOL
  11. LOL! When was it not okay and who said it was not okay? Go ahead wet a line, if you have fished Lake Ontario and survived you should survive your trip to Scugog.
  12. LOL! you got to train the photographer to use a little ZOOM that plus long arms= 8 pound largemouth. Congrats on the nice bass!!!
  13. "What`s a Senko" sorta like a wizzle worm!!!!
  14. LOL, apparently they are giving away hats too.
  15. Very respectable showing, you should have a couple of bags of Senko`s stashed on board!LOL
  16. Those are some nice Simcoe smallies you guys catching those football smallies are making me jealous, I have a week off coming up shortly and I plan come hell or high water to catch and release some of those footballs. Thanks for the Senko tip for followers, the last time I was at Simcoe that`s all I had was followers never thought to throw a Senko at them I will have rod pre-rigged with a Senko next outting.
  17. Personally after an incident I had on Lake Ontario many years ago that put the fear of god into me I would not venture out on any of the great lakes in anything less than yacht. How about a nice 40 foot tugboat there should be a few of those kicking around Port Dover might be kinda tough to tow however. Good luck on your search for the perfect boat.
  18. Thanks for the replies, I got the info I needed off the MNR web site in the FAQ section, section 3 clearly states what is legal. It would be nice if the Durham Regional boys that are patrolling the lakes and advising people on what they can and can not do with respect to the MNR regulations actually knew the regulations. I think I will print that info off and keep it in my Musky box.
  19. Scugog is back to normal have not seen a floater in weeks!
  20. I know this topic gets kicked around but I am looking for definative answer. A couple of weeks ago I was out fishing for Walleye and Bass with my boys and of course we catch a Musky and as anybody who fishes Scugog knows there is a very good chance of that happening, we of course release the nuisance Musky and return to fishing a few minutes later the boys from Durham Regional pull up in their rubber boat to check licenses and equipment and they ask hows the fishing we replied my son just released a Musky he then warns my son that he is not allowed to fish for Musky because of his conservation license I naturally reply that obviously we are not Musky fishing with light equipment and 8 pound line I was going to comment further on what the regulations actually say but I did not want to get into a argument. I know it probably comes down to ones definition of possesion and if memory serves it does not state in the regulations that you can not fish for Musky with a conservation license it just states you must quickly and carefully release said fish. I did some checking and I discovered that numerous lodges that specialize in Musky fishing offer packages that include conservation licenses. Does anybody have the definative answer.
  21. Sick kids is no doubt a very worthy cause but perhaps folks are just suffering from tournament overkill.
  22. If I owned a 12 year old mini van I know how much money I would but into it, 000000 Hit the local wrecker that`s probably your best option.
  23. Your such a square!!!!
  24. I think it`s all been pretty much said but I will add the guys a fool and the paper should be embarrased for printing such a story.
  25. I don`t think you need Walleye with all that other stuff on the Walleye you probably couldn`t tell it`s a Walleye anyways!
