I personally would buy 2 Rapalas over one Sebile, but they work like anything else.

Horsing Them In - The Summer Report!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rich replied to S.M.05's topic in General Discussion
Omg this fits so well into an inside joke at work, I cant wait to show my boss this report! Lmao -
I was more disgusted finding someone had dumped all their deer entrails all over the side of the road in front of the local conservation area. Complete lack of class, im sorry but at least dump them out of view, not just drop the tailgate at the side of the road and play dump truck!

TIGER MUSKY and Pike in Kawartha Lakes!! - Pics
Rich replied to Slayingm's topic in General Discussion
Bah, as long as people keep killing every pike they see, they will co-exist -
It takes an extremist reaction; to get any reaction out of the masses, most times. He needs to tell us the worst case scenario, so somebody starts acting out a strategy. Otherwise we will watch Miley Cyrus take her clothes off while our houses incinerate around us.

I don't doubt many of these men would accept the charges. They probably feel guilty enough as it is, added charges would probably seem suffice to them. I think the compassion of the lawmakers not laying charges here, recognizing human error, is not a bad thing. It's kind of good fuel against any anti-hunting groups to not have a ridiculous amount of hunters getting firearms charges and licenses revoked. I'm pretty sure if someone made the stupid mistake of shooting themself, they'd be pretty cautious of their safety IF and when they ever go back out. Just my opinion.

I dont get the disco ball of difficult to view pics, but great fish. Thanks for the report.

Punishing people for honest mistakes seems redundant, but fits right in with society today. I heard a guy sued his wife for having ugly children and won, thats the kinda justice we serve.

I may be paranoid, but there is no military base near me that I know of and I see planes similar to that flying very low several times a week. I figured they were looking for pot crops. Lol

Right. David Suzuki is probably wrong about 3 leaking nuclear reactors. Nothing to worry about, keep your mind on the leafs and the kardashians!
-
Why is everyone ignoring this? Its been spewing radiation for a year and a half and nothing is being done! Chernobyl had response teams in days trying to clean up, and Fukushima just keeps being allowed to leak with essentially NOTHING being done to stop leaks, fix leaks, clean anything up.. its like they are just abandoning it and hoping for the best. And it's already done horrendous damage, 100x more than Chernobyl, nevermind another reactor going down we should be in panic mode RIGHT NOW.

Been there, done that! Loved it!

TIGER MUSKY and Pike in Kawartha Lakes!! - Pics

Yeah. Good news is you dont need to keep it, unless you just really want to eat an abomination. Lol the tigers cant reproduce. -
Thanks Roy, I'd love to do that one day but it's a long trip and right now not a worthwhile one. I've seen (and lost while perch fishing) some giants in some local LPB canals in recent weeks. I'll be visiting them this week with a heavier leader.. hope they're still there. If they're not.. drastic trips like T.O. harbour may be necessary. Haha

Wow! Beaut!!

Thanks guys, seems it was a one time affair. Did my best today but a couple 1lb largemouth and some perch were all that graced my presence. I want a 40"+ on that pin before winter. Lol

Why even take the 6 pack rings fishing? Take the two seconds to seperate your cans. They are likely in a cooler bag anyway. Throw them in your blue box at home and for heavens sakes put the cans there too when you get back!

"I consider myself so lucky to have the time, means and support to do what I do." I don't consider that luck Rob. It's YOUR effort, determination, and time management that allows you to live a dream. Not catching a break in the system. Keep it up , you've always been one of my inspirations. As for your fall, well looks like your determination continues to pay off! Congrats. Rich

Steelheading is pretty specialized man.. have you seen BPS Vaughan's joke of a musky selection? Supply and demand.. there are more people bass fishing now than ever in this country.

We get tons of people with these tricks at my store. We would have told you to go ahead and get another one and return. Inconvenience is the only incentive we have against the legal robbery phenomena that couponing created.

I got one last year, love it! A MUST for any winter fishing!

Bored of the usual routine and faced with a beautiful fall day by myself, I figured why not deadbait with something more spicy than the usual baitcast outfit? The fish were on fire, for here. I landed 2 little guys and one that measured 37", not bad, not bad at all. By the way - 'big' pike on centerpin - best fight ever!! I just ran a hook, sinker, and a 12" lead of 40lb big game mono. For bait, 3 big dead salted emerald shiners.
-
Thanks everybody! I was much more excited in person than this post made it sound, lol And yeah, odd thing is it's not the first time it's happened to me. It's becoming a running joke now if I get backlash and my spinner sinks to set the hook cuz there's a fish on. Hahaha

Just two weeks later, like a weird dream.. I walked down the river to where a salmon managed to drag me down a hill and into the creek last week, lol.. and there is a big dark fish sitting in the same spot. At first I thought it was the same salmon from last week. He was darting from side to side at the back of the pool agressively feeding on chub minnows. I bombed my #5 Blue Fox at him once, twice, and the third time my reel backlashed a little. Spinner dropped to bottom, and he came from 4 feet back and CRUSHED it, right on bottom! Fish on, whoa, this is no half dead boot. In the jam at the back of the pool for a good while but eventually he came out and laid in the net for me. My new PB brown.
