  1. Those deer fly sure are annoying out on the 'bog, I was on the river about a week ago and my toes and ankles were in so much pain from the bites. The 2nd day was the worst, it actually hurt to walk when a lot of force was placed on each foot. May you have a speedy recovery, and thanks for the report!
  2. Boy you sure know how to slay 'em, those pigs are gonna be monsters come fall time. Steve, on your dropshot rigs, are you spooled up with fluoro or do you use a leader? I havn't had any success on my dropshot rig and I'm trying to fine tune it to see what I'm doing wrong. Broke off 2 fish running Berkeley Vanish 8lb test leader and into the trash it went. Thanks for the weekly reports btw, always love seein your big fish pics!
  3. Nice smallies, I gotta get up to the Haliburton region at least once this season, the bronzeback fishery is outstanding from what I've seen and read. Thanks for sharing

  11. Great tips there Garry2R's, looks like I got to make another trip out to BPS for MORE TACKLE gee thanks Any suggestions as to what colours you would recommend? Seems like you prefer fairly natural hues, although I've seen people use all white ones that catch fish as well. I understand this is a reaction bait so perhaps colour is not so important? Appreciate your thoughts on this, these tips are friggin awesome! Cheers
  12. I don't think musky are the fish of 10,000 casts for Fisherpete, more like fish of every other cast it seems Great job man!
  13. Very nice fish there Grog! Looks like a great opener and not too many boats out either. These waters you fished look calm enough for a canoe; is this right out of downtown Trenton/Centennial Park area? Would love to give it a go in my canoe if it's not too far from shore. Thanks for sharing, -fishindude
  14. I believe this is the place: http://www.beach-marine.com/ Cheers
  15. Started rocking on the chair here in Vaughan, very erie! Epicentre is believed to be in Quebec, will there be tremors?
  16. Sorry to hear that Getting Hooked has come to an end, I'm a huge fan of your bass, pike/musky and walleye episodes; they were an awesome remedy for those cabin fever days during winter. Watching Barry get pumped on catching fish big or small was always entertaining Good luck to both you and Barry, I hope you guys are still on good terms with each other. Looking forward to both new projects from the both of ya's Cheers

  22. Likewise. For me, I'll probably be up somewhere in the Kawartha's, and as for the largies vs smallies, I'll go for both, I don't discriminate!
  23. Good luck and let us know how it turns out!
  24. Very cool to see our fellow esox being caught on the other side of the world, thanks for sharing! Those are some great fish you've caught there.
