Just one "Personal Best" for me this year. This 48" musky from Pigeon Lake in September that won me the 11th annual "Hunt for Big Jake" musky derby.

Where's Charlie White when you need him? Charlie White's Fishing Machine was a T.V. show that used a camera to watch trolled salmon lures and their action and the preference of the salmon. I remember the show saying that only 1 in 10 following fish even took a swipe at the offerings. See if you can find something on the internet about his set-up, he is the King of trolling a camera.

The Food Network is now airing an "Iron Chef" episode that is a battle of the carp. Two chefs will battle to make the best tasting bottom feeder. How many people who fish for carp actually eat them? How do YOU prepare your rubber lips? Just wondering.

I fished the Kawarthas 6 times for musky catching 7 fish including a personal best 48". I also caught 2 walleyes on musky baits during those trips. Good year for me.

When I fished BOQ in the spring, worm harnesses produced loads of huge perch. We started releasing our walleyes because we could get a feed of perch in under 30 minutes on worms. One of our guys really slayed the eyes with a #3 Blue Fox spinner tipped with a worm. He fished it like a jig, just off bottom, while we drifted.
