My centerpin bearings wont spin anymore
Garnet replied to okumasheffield's topic in General Discussion
You need to read that again. It's says we fill that cavity . Not that we over fill fill that cavity. So with your hub cavity full of grease by the time enough heat is generated to turn grease to oil the damage is done. Yes they make money gops of it sell bearing kit to people that install bearings buddy's and fill the hub cavity. Garnet -

The trailer place I deal with Hoskins in Whitby and Jensen in Oshawa will tell you bearing buddy' s are the worst things invented for bearings. We all fill that cavity with grease and then the bearing doesn't get enough heat to turn grease to oil for lubrication so the bearings fail. Your float reel is the same no grease will warm enough for smooth operation. Oshawa bearing can get any bearing that's in your float reel sealed ceramic roller needle doesn't matter, expect to $15 to $30 to little ones are expensive. Your town has a bearing shop. Garnet -

If you have white and blue plates even on a 1/2 to truck you are fine if you have White and black plates your truck is registered as a work truck and you need yearly inspections. I'm good with my safarhi van and know I've had these blue plates on 1/2 tons so I would register my truck passenger. Garnet

No time to read whole thread. Jack Summers owner of Radio World hold product info session on both hummingbirds and lowrance anybody can go. If you didn't buy there drop in and ask, say the wife bought it for you. Josh at the tackle store in Cambridge has a rep. for electronics. Garnet -
Hi Ron It was good see to Jimmy out to the meeting he has been raping my pocket for 35 years in the walleye wars. If the mnr takes my challenge Jimmy will be on the team. Was very disappointed that the mnr added 70cm trophy and 200 possession after I did my survey and didn't mention that they adjusting as they go. If you can set up a meeting with Kawratha Assessment we could talk about way that slot hurt Balsam. more than it help. Rice recovered from a devastating crash without mnr help so I'm not pro very restrictive measures. Garnet

Rice Lake has RAILTRACKS running through it?!
Garnet replied to rbaquial's topic in General Discussion
Rice is pretty friendly if run out of Beweldy pass the first island's the lake will open up. On the north side there is a white church with a steeple to the south you will see a resort with Orange roofs this is you're warning. No amount of time savings is worth not going to the markers. Starting on the north side right at shoreline there are markers buoys. In the middle of the lake traveling either east or west aim for the second Island you come to the buoy's. Tick on north side right at shore there are buoys. Now 2/3 from Tick to south shore there is un marked pass threw go slow it's about 8ft wide and 1 boat at a time. Garnet -
Your buddy needs to understand his client. (What's in the lake). The way for him to make the most return is buy direct. There will be minimum orders $500, $1000. Redwing Tackle, Lucky Strike, and almost every company sell direct to retails. The next level is KTL, Marrice, Perry's Tackle and dozens of guys rep. small amount of products. The standard rule is everybody makes 100%. So if your buddy has the cash on 30 days to get best prices he will make 200% by cutting out those middle guys. Garnet

Nobody and I mean nobody should feel bad from the harvest of 1 legal fish. That's just playing right into pam's peanut brain. I'm a 100% user of the outdoors and mostly fishing. That means I've released maybe 3000 to 8000 steelhead in 51 years. I've ate every species I've ever caught and released every different fish I've ever caught. I've fished derby's tournaments I've taking kids fathers grand fathers fishing I've guided worked on charter boats fished for life altering cash. Basically I've wasted 51 years fishing. No pimple headed 20 something terd has the right to make me feel bad to harvest 1 fish of any species, as long as I eat the fish cure my roe roe and respect the law kiss my......................... If you think I'm kidding drop around the Ganny and make some pin headed comment near me!!!!!!!!! I'm tried and think maybe I will catch 500 perch tomorrow keep my LEGAL LIMIT share some with a grandmother next door (technically not legal ) and just chill. Sorry for ranting Garnet .

So I guess you understand!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anchoring can be challenging back in the day I prayed for 75 mph wind tournament days. Those big ego pros would run to some corner and hide, to uppity anchor. They payed me and payed me well. Go back 5 posts and I mentioned 5 anchors at 1 time it was wild on the lake nobody in the right mind would go out. It took 5 anchors because I could only cast strait behind the boat change my cast was change my anchors. My most important equipment that days bilge and life jackets. The truth is for safety learn the basics and skip the rest . Ever thing you need to is this thread. Garnet

Last year north Whitby CT was a joke will stop by and check. The south Whitby CT was always very good. For 15 years the north Oshawa CT was heavy weight champ. Bowmanville just sucks. Now recently the very very best CT is the one in south Kingston I was stunned at the selection. Talk about over priced plastic I was in Gagnons yesterday and 5 Mr Twister crappy baits were $10.99 beside a 15 bag Yammanmoto crappy baits $4.99 beside Phantom 20 count for $3.99, them twisters must be good. I bought 3 phantoms 2 yammy and went fishn and ate a hotdog at beefsteak. Garnet
