  1. These kids won't make 30k so no tax need to be collected and non sent in.
  2. This smells like a local tackle/bait retailer making complaints more less tying the hands of the bylaw officer. Quick trip around Cornwall will likely find a doz biz run out of residence, likely brother laws of the mayor. You can sometimes get around this by non permanent signage. Anyway if I was the kid my $240 would be spent on a lawyer because no bylaw # was quoted.
  3. Balsam Lake Park nice launch. And just pass Shallow Mar is a gravel rd to right that goes to canal. Gravel not bad for 2 people launch and the mosquitos are the size of small black birds. The best all around launch would be Rosedale on 35. Google earth should help you find the gravel launch.
  4. Get a piece of cardboard under it to check for leaks. And buy ear muffs $10 and run it in driveway.
  5. It takes some fishing skills to make Rice happen but it's a great lake and the skills learned will transfer to any lake. Maybe you should hire a guide likely cheaper than travel all over.
  6. Beautiful
  7. I would take them on the Muskoka boat cruise and then pick good fishing lakes for good fishing.
  8. What colour of Black Bucktail is that Ron.
  9. Just take a quick trip down to Oshawa Harbour or Whitby Pier. I live on the hill in Bowmanville and the boats move from 80-100 into 60 last week. Have been camping so don't know what going on now but a quick observation will tell you.
  10. That's it if tournament fishing maybe not. I'm going to Emily for few days and will be whipping a frog around. If they play beach volleyball with my little frog who cares.
  11. You should try those largies in 30-35 it's a blast.
  12. Brownridge weight 23 all largies couple years ago. Still difficult on muti day tourney. The river seem to be getting better and better.
  13. I wear my Auto inflator also 100%. So comfortable I've drove home put the boat away and had a nap and had the wife ask when I'm taking it off. Several times.
  14. Yes I still have my Johnson Silver minnows and use them occasionally. Uncle Josh NO. Senkos and flukes t rig have acceptable 80-85% hook up. No throw back cast just stop and bait sinks.
  15. The guy that ran to Lake O last year had his back against the wall so the run was worth it. 2nd JVD was in the Brookville area. You can get 23 lbs. hard to back up on multi day tournaments.
  16. A good bunch will go to Brockville area. I wouldn't worry about getting crowded. I've fished there 20 times and seen .02% of available water.
  17. Out of Waddington 500 boats just disappear.
  18. Ohio likes the lizards, I like flukes and Senkos , T rig with 1/8 worm weight to fish the same cover.
  19. The floating rope is tied to the floating cushion. You ever tried to throw a floating rope in wind and waves. Another useless desk jockey law. I have old floating cushions with CAS approval think I could make a reasonable argument.
  20. What's the label on floatation cushion say. And if you can make a reasonable argument make appointment with the Justice of the Pease and make your case. They can throw tickets out and reduce fines. Most States require a throw cushion and is a way better idea than that floating rope we need, so I kept the cushion and tied the rope to it.
  21. If you are fun fishing just enjoy the show. As a tournament bait they are a 60% hookup, you can include all makes. So I can get 40% less bites on jig and still win or you need to get 40% more bites. Yes I view top water frogs as a losing strategy.
  22. CC Shad Perch
  23. Letting fish die that can swim away. NO THANKS. And worrying about 2 ml of Coke in a lake. Stop drinking Rum and coke and pissing in the toilet.
  24. Of the 1000's of things in my boat a bottle Coke not that big a deal. Have released a few smallies that I thought were sure to die, couple hour stay in the livewell looked good off you go.
  25. Most years a strong mayfly hatch on the Kawrathas means tough walleye bite. Typical your bites will come on the first drop about 6 inches from the bottom and just rifle it. This year on Balsam had strong Mayfly hatch for 2.5 week and those wally just kept biting. 1 year out of 40, still don't like fishing extended mayfly hatch.
