It looks like he had no floatation on. I wonder what happens if you have a floater coat or suit on. You should be alot higher in the water and it may be easyer to pull yourself out. You may not get as cold either. Did they do a test with a suit on?

A float suit that dosn't float. That could be very bad. I guess i will test mine.

My boat is a 14'5" starcraft side console. The boat is about 500lbs on its own. The motor is a 1976 evinrude 20hp. I get 20mph with two people. My boat will plane with three people. Hull shape may be part of the problem for you. What prop is on the 15hp you have?

My cousin owned a fishing shop and the hours sucked. He sold it after a few years. People wanted bait 24/7.

10X13 seems like the wrong prop to me. I have a 20 evinrude and it has a 10X9 or is it 9X10 and it works great on a heavy boat.

Some crappy tire stores have them. Any fishing shop should have them. I have some that dont get used alot cause they take away from the fight of the fish.

When is the chip coming out that shows the fish on it too.

Nice fish. That is alot better then the rest of us who are sitting around waiting for ice.

Maybe they have a pro team of fish cleaners at home and they have to keep them working.

Thanks for the replies. You guys are great. The boat has a floor in it so i am waiting till i replace it in a year or two before i fix the dents and leaks. I put a auto bildge pump in it and that works real good. I will try for another 20years before i buy a new boat. Thanks.
