  12. In the summer I cut the thought and lean on the river bank to bleed out. In the winter on the ice they go. I heard freezing to death is similar to going to sleep.
  13. Biggest fish on simcoe all seem to hit the set line. A big 5 inch shiner about ten ft off the bottom. My fav spots and most productive are in 55-65 fow sometimes ill fish deep but generally the fish deep are hunkered down and not as willing to commit as those cruiseing for a meal. Someone said lipless cranks already. That will get their attention especially in a derby where there will be all sorts of shiny stuff for them to chose from.
  14. Man, that's the worst feeling, Like loosing your wallet with a wad of cash in it.
  15. Tank
  16. Not sure about newer stuff but on my 2002 Honda 400ex yep, same on my 98 Polaris
  17. If its anything like a sled, take the two wires off the back tape them together and pull the rope. Other than that if you take the ignition to a locksmith he should be able to make you a key. I got to buffalo airport once and left my keys in North Carolina . Called locksmith he took my door lock to the shop and made a key in under an hour.
  18. Just talked to the planning department. Because its zoned agricultural granny suite is out. Only possibility is farm help. Means less than 800sq ft and no foundation. She said its mostly for trailers but as long as its got no foundation you could push the envelope a little. Any ideas? I'm thinking doubblewide and brick up the bottom to make it look like a bungalow.
  19. Nice I was out in Dorset area from 7-12 on sat. Not even a bite. Was nice to get out though
  20. We love you! Could I come volunteer for a day?
  21. If I can get permits I would live to go that route. Not sure if they will give me one without a severance. I sent some emails this weekend I guess I will find out next week.
  22. Can always put an extension on after:). 700-1000 sq ft. + Loft There's a 6 bedroom farmhouse on the property as well we just need some space to call our own.
  23. First of I got skunked for splake up in Dorset yesterday. My father just asked me this week if I would move back home and help him take care of the family farm as he aged. We're looking ad adding a prefab cabin/cottage to the property. Nothing incredibly fancy but comfortable enough for me the fiancé and one or two kids down the road. We're looking around 700 sq ft with a loft. No basement. And on a separate septic from the main house. We could use the same well. My main concern is getting permits anyone have any tips on dealing with the planning department. I've heard there lax on " seasonal farm help residences". We're located outside of alliston. We plan on heating with Woodstove and baseboards as a backup. Any help is appreciated as I'm way outa my league here. Dammit I can't edit the title.
  24. I lay on my belly with a garbage bag over my head fishin for specks up north. Lol
