  1. My hope is this will spur you on to design your own improved version. I always love the elegant solutions you come up with. The Cartopper loader/unloader comes to mind. Cheers, Mark
  2. I would love to see him change locations. Cheers, Mark
  3. Not so sure on the 400 - 600 tags. On the OFAH notice about this on their website they estimated the Bancroft/Hastings herd at 400 - 600. Kudos to all who worked hard to bring this about! Cheers, Mark
  4. Dave, PM, and Musky. Nice. Now, only 12 more episodes of Musky to come. (I hope) Cheers, Mark
  5. Negative attention is what blowhards thrive on. No need to elevate him to a national figure when he is better thought of as "Who?". Cheers, Mark
  6. WTG Mikey. I am itchin' to get out for some Pike as well before the Lakers and Whities are calling. It is going to be warm enough in the next little bit that I think I might try casting from shore for some fat females. (anyone, anyone...) Cheers, Mark
  7. I was wondering if anyone has a copy of the X-67 ice instructional DVD? I just picked up a unit to try this season but there was not a DVD included as they had in years past. I am completely new to this (fishfinders) and any additional help before I am on the ice will help. So if anyone has a copy they no longer need or wouldn't mind making me a copy of, it would be greatly appreciated. I will pick it up within an hours drive. I will be down around Kitchener until just before New Years and then in the GTA for the New Year, and back and forth thereafter. Thanks in advance, Mark
  8. As it is already discounted, member discount is not applied. I tried anyways at the cash...rebuffed with extreme prejudice. Cheers, Mark
  9. Off I went to Radioworld to pick up the X67 ice model at the regions best price of $330. Only...they sold out this week. (more due in mid Jan.) Dejectedly I stopped at Le Baron's on the way home to see if they would come close to matching Radioworld's price. I am a member after all. I checked out the display and the listed sale price was $317.94. Sold! No more fishing in the dark. Cheers, Mark
  10. This is what I have never understood...If the Banks require one -- why wouldn't they want an Inspection system with Standards, or Liability? As it stands now it is a total waste. I have seen it from both sides: where an Inspector missed something obvious on a friends purchase. also, when my sister was selling her place, one deal fell through because of a negative inspection where the inspector (who just so happens to teach "home inspection" at a Community college)speculated and made stuff up and was blatantly wrong. There was nothing she could do. No one to confront or challenge the assessment because the Inspector and his company was the property of the buyer. The illusion of "Buy with confidence". Cheers, Mark
  11. People suck! "They should be killed. No Trial, no jury, straight to execution." QT '94 When words don't suffice...try alcohol. Cheers, Mark
  12. For those who are still looking for a pair of Knipex Bolt Cutters to have as part of their essential release tools... I have seen them in stock at two separate Lowes stores in the GTA (Major Mack and Bathurst, Caledonia and Castlefield) along with more Knipex items. They are found alongside the other electrical tools in the electrical aisle. $47.99 Cheers, Mark
  13. WTG Dax. Beauty looking musky! Cheers, Mark
  14. Hey BB, Salt is Salt. The difference with Kosher is that the crystals are larger so you get less total salt compared with the same volume of Table Salt. Cheers, Mark
  15. Cool Pics. I have actually seen the aftermath when they don't make it all the way across. Naturally removes the weak from the herd. Cheers, Mark
  16. Pick one up for free from a well-stocked Tackle store. They get their Rods shipped in the same tubes. Cheers, Mark
  17. I have noticed that as well. I think it has something to do with the HST rollout. To be clear though, this sale is HST plus 10%(membership) discount. Cheers, Mark
  18. Just a heads up. I was in Lebarons last night. They are having a "we pay the tax plus membership discount" sale until October 2nd. It only is for Firearms and Optics which includes Binos. Cheers, Mark
  19. Bump. I'm hoping after the long weekend more eyes will get a look at this request. Cheers, Mark
  20. Just a heads up, they have extended their no "HST sale" to August 7th. At the Mississauga store at least. Cheers, Mark
  21. Grab the combo and get out there. Use the difference to invest in the proper handling and release tools. There have been ample threads on what gear you should have if you intend to fish for Musky. Cheers, Mark
  22. I am looking to pick up some more reaper tails. I tried Fishing World, BPS, JB's...no luck. Does anyone know of a tackle shop that carries them? Thanks in advance. Cheers, Mark
  23. Just a heads up. This ad was just posted on Toronto, Craigslist in their Free Section. Free 12'-14' boat "Canadian Edition" . It looks like an 80's Polaris. Walker's Point, Lake Muskoka. My link Cheers, Mark
  24. Actually, when I was first walking up to it, I thought I had found a replacement for one of my Dad's old ceramic toy cowboy hats that had broken (sorry Dad.) I just came across it when I was out walking on Sunday. I have never seen one like this before. It is incredibly smooth at the base with none of the usual bubbled crowning. Cheers, Mark
  25. Found this the other day. Any idea how this happened? Cheers, Mark
