Hey Nodie ..... I'm by no means an expert in any way, shape, or form ,,,but the Curado reel if its 7.1 ratio ??? way way too fast for spinnerbaits . pick up a Citica instead.... Use the Curado for lopping out frogs and Buzz Baits

Take it back for sure........Moisture and electronics don't mix,,,,,,,Moisture always wins..
