Sounds to me like youv'e been spying on people ..........Watching guys eating as much fish as they can then throwing a little extra to the bears.. How do you know they were Americans...........

The Americans are not the only ones......Theres also Chinese and Viatnamese dudes .......And then theres the Quebecers.......

The sad thing is ....The person who took the photo went back an hour and a half later and the cops were still there...

So with several posts lately asking about electrical issues concerning Minnkota trolling motors I recently had some issues myself,, every now and then I had to hit the top of the motor to get the prop to turn ,left and right directions would always work fine . So with them being on different circuits i decided to remove the cover at the top of the shaft ...heres what i found wrong In behind the cover there is an spaded terminal connection , seems the connections had gotten hot on several occasions and melted the ends of the wires / termianls causing a poor contact between the two . I removed the spaded connectors and stripped back the wires cleaned ad solder the tips of them then used heat shrinkable union connectors . This time i tucked the wires back under the cover and kept them seperated ..Originally they come tight together and when they got hot they melted together... Now I can it full speed through the Slop and won't have to worry about the wires getting hot...

Remove the cover on the head of the trolling motor...this is where there is a '' connection '' of the wires they might have gotten hot and now there is a poor contact between them........ I'll post some pics soon

I'll be posting some pics of the wiring problem in found with mine ....the spaded terminals heated up and melted the wiring.......

Ship it back to Shimano ......I believe a reciept is not required.........
