  1. Congratulations! They are beautiful pups! Sue already wants to have a beagle G2G this fall sometime. See, the plan works!!!! Beagle G2G = Fishing G2G
  2. Don't know bud. email me and I'll send you the owner's email address. [email protected]
  3. Ah my friend, you should have met my old buddy Andy, he was a GSP, Katiebo's Andy; nose of a hound, webbed feet of a retriever, (swam like a beaver) instincts of a pointer and about 3 times the size of a beagle. He always made us laugh with some of the things he would pull LOL. I don't know how many baby birds, rabbits, or almost anything else he brought home for us to see, never hurt a feather or a hair on them. Pissed off a lot of mother birds though, they'd be dive bombing him and he couldn't understand why, he wasn't going to hurt the baby, he just wanted to show them to us. LOL. I am looking forward to having a new pup to work with. Besides, you know the old saying, if mama ain't happy, nobody is going to be happy. Well mama has always wanted a beagle.
  4. Well, in my house it is called FUR niture for a reason, the floors are all laminate, and if you saw my lawn, well, you'd know it isn't my biggest priority LOL. I have had and trained dogs all my life so I kind of have an idea of what to expect and what is needed LOL. None the less, it will make Sue happy and she'll have company so I can do more fishing!
  5. We'll be thinking of all of you and keeping our fingures crossed.
  6. Smart man!
  7. many years ago I might have taken you up on your offer to go to this lake but I think I'll pass on it now LOL. The trailer is here when you want it! just send some pictures!
  8. Terry, check with these guys, if they have one I'll get it down to you one way or another. They have been able to help me out in the past. English Trailer Sales
  9. I have bush buggy atv trailer that can handle about 1/2 a face cord of wet wood at a time, (I think we are talking about 4 or 5 hundred lbs.) you would be welcome to borrow that for a couple of days if it would help?
  10. And here I thought you guys were my friends Oh well, see if you can resist this: And thank you very much but one is enough!!!!!
  11. Friends of ours have a litter of Beagle pups they are now just 7 weeks old and they are looking for good homes for them, there are now 5 left to choose from (we will be getting one later this week). Let me know if you are interested.
  12. Sounds like you need a new impeller. DO NOT RUN YOUR ENGINE UNTIL YOU GET IT FIXED. Get someone that KNOWS what they are doing to fix it. New impeller for that engine about $25.00.
  13. Over heat or oil, both could be serious if you don't get them checked out.
  14. The charts don't always tell you everything! I looked out on the lake yesterday and saw a new island that had to be 40+' long and 25 or more ' wide floating down the lake. We often see boats flying by here after dark without lights on or with just running lights and most of the time you'd be fine but run into just one of these at high speed and we'd be pulling bodys out of the lake. Glad you had nothing more than a bit of physical damage to your boat, perhaps a good lesson learned!
  15. Wait a minute, wait a minute, you trying to tell me we aren't brothers after all?
  16. Yup, could be just sticky bendix, if lubricating it doesn't work then starter might be close to needing new brushes assuming all connections are clean and tight. None of it is a big job. Let me know if you have any more trouble, might just have to bring your boat up here and come fishing!
  17. Beautiful, absolutly beautiful. Congrats!
  18. I woke up this morning just in time to see their tail lights as they pulled out of the driveway headed for home. Fortunatly we got to say our goodbyes last night. We miss them already! The week went by in a flash or so it seems, two wonderful people, many good laughs and memories that will last a lifetime. We can't wait until the next time we get to see them again and I am sure there will be many more. BTW Bob, you owe me that shrimp recipe That is one that I will be adding to my book of specials, "Billy Bob's fire shrimp" and those Red neck steaks would be a proud dish for any top end steak house to serve! Thanks again for everything! See you soon! Cliff and Sue
  19. She isn't saying you should have to love it, just that if you do have to get rid of it don't make it suffer! Sticking it in a cage and drowning it is not the most humane way of dispatching it. Can you imagine what it would be like to be put in a cage then submurged and fighting to try to get a breath? Not something I would do to my worst enemy.
  20. That's my girl! And believe me you sure don't want to piss her mother off! LOL. truth be told, my kids were brought up to respect every living thing, human or otherwise. There are still pictures of my ex with a great horned owl sitting on her sholder, no leather pads or anything, no teather on the owl, just a wild animal and a human living in peace and respecting each other. Too bad more people can't respect others that way.
  21. True story:! Just after I got out of the army a friend in Toronto invited me to go deer hunting with him up in French River. We loaded up the car and headed out for the weekend. He was from the area and knew everyone (those from the area will probably remember Bill Ouimette). Anyway that night we needed a place to stay so he took me to some friends house. (the Mines Family on Hartley Bay Rd.)(Saddly the farm is now gone) Now, this was all strange to me, there were about 9 kids running around, but the whole family made me feel like I was just part of the family. There was always enough food somehow to feed anyone that was hungry. That night I got to sleep on the couch in the living room (there were a few couches and all ended up occupied, (one even had this cute red head, unfortunatly her boyfriend was sleeping on the other couch) everyone was welcome! So, everything is pitch dark, it is the middle of the night, and I wake up to feel a little hand going into my pocket. Now, I think to myself, "one of the kids is trying to steal my change". So, I decide to scare the crap out of the kid and I grab the hand! I have no words to describe the next few minutes other than " I grabbed, the hand had fir on it, it jumped, I jumped (about 3' straight up in the air)and screamed like a little girl, the whole house woke up! They laughed about it for years after that. Turned out that they had rescued two baby racoons, Sam and Curosity (christ, they would rescue anyone and anything) which were supposedly kept in a pen in the basement. Unfortunatly for me, they occasionally escaped and loved finding anything shiny and had figured out that shiny things came from peoples pockets. I just happened to be the first one they came to that night! Oh, BTW, I later married that cute little red head and we had two wonderful children. Unfortunatly after 13 years together we ended up parting company but we are still to this day good friends and she'll still rescue anything that needs help! I have many more stories about that time up in the French River but I'll save them for a later day LOL. Suffice to say it is a part of my life I'll never forget! Next time you want a good laugh ask me about the night I stood out on the back porch in my underware in feb. with my rifle in hand and the wolves howling. Or the day I got home and my wife announced she'd shot a bear (with a .22)because it had one of her cats and it was in the bush across the road. ....... a lot of stories all true but some hard to believe!
  22. Sounds like a good recipe for a sweet and hot sauce!!!!!! LOL
  23. Unfortunatly they have to leave about 5:00 am on Friday, we will be sad to see them go! However I have a feeling we will be seeing them again in the not too distant future and next time they come, we will be planning a G2G.
  24. Yes, the bears will normally leave you alone, they are usually more afraid of you than you are of them but just in case you surprise one, a can of spray is better than "OH crap"!
  25. Talk to an Evinrude dealer or just replace the ignition switch, you should be able to find something at CTC that will do the job. Just check to see how many terminals are on the back of the switch. The pin connection might be a little different than yours but as long as there are the same number of connectors you should be able to make it work.
