  1. Pretty sad effort last night, especially after the excellent game against the Blues.
  2. Canadian Tire has ATV oil on sale starting on Friday. Saw it today in the preview of the weekly flyer.
  3. Take one of these with you. https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/purrfect-start-4-in-1-clumping-cat-litter-14-kg-1421939p.html
  4. Another good reason for living in the Arctic.
  5. I have an auto bilge pump that does the trick. Make sure to clean the float switch occasionally as they tend to have algae buildup that can make them stick. If you're leaving it unused for any length of time a mooring cover is also a good idea.
  6. If you have that option. Only one ramp on my lake.
  7. Concrete ramps can have the ends wash out and when this happens if the trailer wheels drop off the end you aren't getting it out without help. The ramp on the Credit River in Pt. Credit is bad for this. I have seen other ramps with the same problem. The ramp on my lake had the issue when the water was low a few years ago. People with larger boats had to back in further and were dropping their trailer tires off the end of the ramp into a foot of silt. No way to get the trailer out without help of a tow truck.
  8. Depends on the ramp. Don't want to drop the trailer wheels off the end of the ramp as it can get ugly quick at some ramps.
  9. If you're set on an electric pickup maybe get one of these when they are released. https://www.powernationtv.com/post/musk-says-teslas-pickup-will-be-cheaper-and-more-durable-than-fords-f-150?utm_content=1570369020&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook&fbclid=IwAR0rIWISkM9kbsS4pg2fuPXJDbVE4Ggg1mShtS_PffmD5lfbrCB3rP_ZsiU
  10. You can exchange the axles with drop axles. Doesn't look like an axle flip will work due to available space.
  11. Matty's got some skillz with a B-Ball too. https://www.bardown.com/mike-babcock-creates-new-leafs-post-victory-tradition-inspired-by-the-raptors-championship-run-1.1376584?fbclid=IwAR1v4zbpKKVfrv1bNttIHW5b2XDUPwxWifdjVwRLzgRdI6Z63WjN_G5gkOw
  12. Yep, go ahead and git ya one of them 'lectric cars. Don't come crying when the range sucks and you need a new battery. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7527339/Nissan-Leaf-owner-Phillip-Carlson-charged-33-000-new-battery-2012-electric-car.html?fbclid=IwAR1JI1uZhKBw7GWkWamhQmSMqAcPv-xfSBdAWT5ep1bamXrNc-_ssrAyKSI
  13. They sure know how to put on a show in Vegas.
  14. It rides like a Caddy, gets great gas mileage but it is heavy so it sucks when you get it stuck. Oh, it goes like a raped ape too!!!! ? I bought it new in November 2007 and it's been great. Only mechanical issue I've had was my own fault. Got stuck at my cabin and spun the track and threw a rock into the rad. Had to replace it which was a pain.
  15. All of those RFA's signed bridge deals. Our guys signed longer term contracts. BIG difference.
  16. My 2008 Yamaha RS Venture GT. 1000 cc liquid cooled 4 stroke. It has only overheated once while pulling 2 loaded boggans over hard pack in the trees at very slow speed. No issues on the lakes or open trail. As for running in the spring or on hard pack, ICE SCRATCHERS!!!!
  17. I've never been a big fan of Polaris. Yamaha and Skidoo are both excellent sleds.
  18. At some point I believe Sandin will be a top 4 D-Man in TO. There, I said it!!!! ?
  19. Since shortly after I moved to Yellowknife in 2007 they have been charging for plastic bags to get people to switch to reusable bags. I have dozens of reusable bags as they are great for all sorts of things. FYI, you want a plastic bag up here they are 25 cents a piece. Reusable's are a buck.
  20. To all the school kids going on 'strike' for Climate Change: You are the first generation who have required air-conditioning in every classroom. You want TV in every room. Your classes are all computerized. You spend all day and night on electronic devices. More than ever, you don't walk or ride bikes to school but arrive in caravans of private cars that choke local roads and worsen rush hour traffic. You are the biggest consumers of manufactured goods ever and update perfectly good expensive luxury items to stay trendy. Your entertainment comes from electric devices. Furthermore, the people driving your protests are the same people who insist on artificially inflating the population growth through immigration, which increases the need for energy, manufacturing and transport. The more people we have, the more forest and bushland we clear and more of the environment is destroyed. How about this... Tell your teachers to switch off the air-conditioning. Walk or ride to school. Switch off your devices and read a book. Make a sandwich instead of buying manufactured fast food. None of this will happen because you are selfish, badly educated, virtue signalling little 'princesses', inspired by the adults around you who crave a feeling of having a 'noble cause' while they indulge themselves in Western luxury and unprecedented quality of life. Wake up, grow up, and learn to research facts and think for yourself and not blindly accept the words and thoughts of others. I don't think you formulated this action plan all by your self, in fact, I suspect you may have had some influence and 'guidance' from those you trust... A word of warning: Be cautious of the influence of the 'left' because there may be a time in the future that you will be the ones left out.
