  1. Haven't been there in many years but I used to use the town launch right in Honey Harbour. Just looked on Google Earth and I don't even recognize the place anymore. Can't even figure out where the town dock/launch is. There's marinas everywhere. Life was better before all this development. Looks like it's still there Honey Harbour Park Landing is the name of the place. Lots and lots of Marinas with launches too.
  2. Had time at lunch to screw 7 25-30 watt solar panels to the front of my deck. Didn't have time to wire them up yet though.
  3. Another vote for Advanced. Got a couple of replicas I want them to do for me.
  4. Used to go there all the time back in the day. Would load up my 12 foot tinny with 5 1/2 hp Johnson and make the trip.
  5. Could be worse. Could be boxes of glitter!!!! 🤣
  6. Been hard at it, just haven't been posting. Got the ceiling joists/trusses all finished up as well as the vent plumbing and fire sprinkler pluming all done in the attic. Still have some wiring and woodwork to do. Also have to finish the vaulted ceiling insulation before I can do the attic insulation.
  7. Beausoleil Island CG Launch out of Honey Harbor. https://www.pc.gc.ca/en/pn-np/on/georg/activ/camping
  8. They didn't get the big motor off though.
  9. You're welcome Dude!!! 😁
  10. It's time for....................................................
  11. I picked up one off another supplier as a back up. It's no where near as good as the $25 one I have but it will do as a back up for $9.99.
  12. More ugliness @ the cabin.
  13. Had a rock do that on my big Yamaha 4 stroke. Replacing the heat exchanger was not a fun job. Book calls for 16 hours of labour to replace it. I took my time over the summer. Had to almost completely disassemble the dang thing. The only other issue I've had with my sled is the battery croaked this past winter. You would figure they would last longer then 12 years. 🙄
  14. It's not too bad actually. Takes about 3 hours or so. Plenty of time to get there, set up camp and get fishing before dinner. I've found it hard to bring everything I need for a good long trip though. 8 days is my longest so far. Might have to leave the generator and espresso machine at home next time. Anytime you want to fly up and go camping for a week or so let me know Bill.
  15. Shag, yeah different lake but Yellowknife is on GSL. Easy to get to but the real good fishing is a ways down the lake. 50 miles to the turn. 75 mile boat ride to where I go and camp. Red line is my route.
  16. Got a solar panel hooked up and have renewable power for my lighting.
  17. Water's still chilly this year due to crappy weather but temps are usually in the low 70's by now. This year it's 67 and change right now. The kids across the lake have been tubing since the lake opened up!!! Nothing like getting sprayed by 50 degree water!!! 😂
  18. The water is insanely high at the cabin this year. 😱 Top pic is what the water is usually like on the lake. Bottom pic is this year. Top and middle pics are the rock shore I pull my main dock section on. Third pic is the rock under the water somewhere.
  19. I've got one with virtually no time on it. Would have to either come and git it or pay for shipping. 😁
  20. I was. Went out after dinner for a couple of hours. This was about 10:30 PM after I got back.
  21. Just another ugly evening at the cabin.
