  1. Nice work bud
  2. Well it’s a pond , does your property end at the pond or does it cover part of the pond. Who’s promised the pond on, if a pond is totally on my property you can’t fish it without my permission. Now if it was part of a navigable water system, it’s a different story but a pond is owned by the person who owns the land
  3. Get a Lawyer sent them a letter of intent to sue
  4. Buy a charger that is meant for lithium batteries and charge it every time you come off the water
  5. I was happy with cochrane air. The walleye were not as big as they said they were But they were bigger then the average size for a fly in
  6. There is no penalties for accidentally catching a bass out of season as long as you release it immediately but if you keep catching them without catching more of the fish you were there to catch that are in season , you can get a hefty fine and lose you license to fish for a few years , if they really want you could lose your boat , trailer and the vehicle that towed it
  7. Seems like a waste of time and great expense , with all the local crime that could be patrolled I say that as a person who had the mnr raid our cabin when I was at a fly in lake of course they found nothing wrong with us and left empty handed
  8. I read a scientific report that showed a microscopic electrical pulse when vegetables are snapped in two , so it could be concluded that they experienced pain of some sort so with the woke world getting worse each day the day will come when the only three things humans will be allowed to eat are eggs ,honey and milk, as they are the only things people eat that doesn’t need the product to die to be consumed
  9. Here is an oldie but goodie story about bears. The NationalPark Rangers are advising hikers in Glacier National Park and other Rocky Mountain parks to be alert for bears and take extra precautions to avoid an encounter. They advise park visitors to wear little bells on their clothes so they make noise when hiking. The bell noise allows bears to hear them coming from a distance and not be startled by a hiker accidentally sneaking up on them. This might cause a bear to charge. Visitors should also carry a pepper spray can just in case a bear is encountered. Spraying the pepper into the air will irritate the bear's sensitive nose and it will run away. It is also a good idea to keep an eye out for fresh bear scat so you have an idea if bears are in the area. People should be able to recognize the difference between black bear and grizzly bear scat. Black bear droppings are smaller and often contain berries, leaves, and possibly bits of fur. Grizzly bear droppings tend to contain small bells and smell of pepper. Cheers Art i can’t focus on highlighted text so I reposted it good one
  10. I think it does make a difference
  11. I agree , I gave an explanation as to why they are cheating, in no way said they should do it As a matter of fact I said they should have had greater punishment
  12. Yes but young kids and women are not as prepared men are and I said 2 minutes because a biologist doing studies on fish told me they try not to keep fish out of the water for more then two minutes ,even ones they put transmitters in
  13. I would rather see a two minute rule the fish can only be out of the water for two minutes max. If it gets close to two minutes and you don’t have your hook out you need to cut the hook and release the fish
  14. But I have some idea why they are breaking the law lodge owner were get about 10 moose tags every season now most get one tag and that does not make enough money to remain open for the moose hunt so they have a choice, shut down, break the law and stay open or sell the one tag they get to Americans for between 10 and 20 thousand bucks it not right and they should not break the law but I do understand why they are doing it
  15. Yeah, a lodge or a guide should be punished far more then an individual
  16. I am ready for the opener too
  17. I have not heard of that, I know you can fish much of the Ottawa river with either an Ontario or Quebec license. But having an Ontario license I would have thought you would have to follow Ontario rules and if you have a Quebec license you follow their rules usually if it doesn’t say it in the regulations it’s not a regulation
  18. I think it is the third Saturday for walleye but some lakes are not closed to all fishing on the Friday so they can fish for perch and crappie
  19. I just remember snaking my way over avoiding stumps
  20. Are you talking about the one that tops off at about 5 ft depending on the time of year
  21. I can’t remember, I have always gone through in a small boat so never thought about it and haven’t been there in about 6 years
  22. IMO Gloucester pool is 3 times better fishing then Maclean but it’s only a short boat ride between them
  23. If you found someone who laser wields you could fill the boat with water and laser wield it causing no problem to the foam
