I really like using braids if fishing outside it has been known to freeze on the spool otherwise you feel everything I do put about 10ft of mono on the between the braid and lure that gives it a little more stretch as the fish gets close to the hole

the older I get and the more toys I get the harder it is to get all my toys out onto the ice it's not the walk out because most times you walk out a bit and fish, then move out a bit farther, then farther and farther then you are done for the day and realize you have a 5 mile walk in with dragging a sled or hut.....having help sure is better then walking 3 miles out and a blizzard starts a quicl 3 minute ride in is better then a hour walk in, in a blizzard

not the ice walker I was talking about guess meant Snow&Icewalker details at first ice on cooks bay

if simcoe is your target lake and you want to get to the best spots as the season progresses, then you need a snowmobile to keep on top of them also if you have all the toys and a hut. it sure makes it easier to move them an 8hp icewalker might do the trick, but won't know till this winter

I have used them for smelt and sucker never used them for alewives

well I am hard on my equipment hard on...sorry had to laugh ok back to business I break, bend and abuse equipment I bought a cheap UL ugly stick so when the good ones break I have a back up well I really like the cheap uglystick and I have bent it and stepped on it and had to straiten out the eyes that I bent but it takes a lick'n and keeps on tick'n

dude ...nice fish there ...I fished for walleye Saturday and only caught pike now I have to get back out to try for some of them

oh and I do have the lss-1 structure scan module and can't tell which fish is which my underwater camera is 100% on naming them

how much is the boat I think there is a 12,500.00 cnd limit when people want to buy sight unseen it sends up red flags of me could be real but I would be careful

these days if it's not caught on video or camera, did it really happen LOL sounds like a good way to end the season....

I can't tell some people say by the different colours that show on hook on the screen they can tell..I don't believe it, but you can tell the relative size by the colours..

sure it's all fun and games now but I bet it's not as much fun in the winter fishing the river, while all the other guys are on the ice.......... glad you are enjoying it.....sounds like fun

but the way the system works now you get people who can't afford to be there, who only want to get it over with to get back to work, who may make a bad choice out of spite ............ guess the lesson here is don't get caught doing anything illegal ..LOL
