  8. I usually use a 3-way swivle. I leave about 8-12" leader between the hook to the swivle and the same distance between the sinker and the swivle. I usually either use liver or shrimp, just toss it out and grab a stick where you can peg it to the ground and rest the rod on it. Some guys like to use a bell I usually just tie a small ribbon or something bright to the end of your rod so you can see the strikes.

  13. Orillia - Lagoon City - Washago 10:29 AM EDT Monday 6 April 2009 Snowfall warning for Orillia - Lagoon City - Washago continued Heavy snowfall today. A significant low pressure area currently tracking across Lake Erie will pass along the lower lakes today. Wet snow associated with the low has enveloped the extreme southwest through the Dundalk Highlands into southern Georgian Bay. It will continue throughout much of the day for many regions. General snowfall amounts up to 15 centimetres are forecast by tonight. The snow will taper off to a few flurries tonight with the exception being areas to the south-southeast of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay where flurries and localized snowsqualls are expected. Several more centimetres of snow are likely in some of these areas. A snow squall warning is not out of the question for some snow belt locales, but seems somewhat unlikely as the squalls are not expected to be particularly intense. Some blowing snow is also expected in many regions - mainly tonight as the mercury dips below the freezing mark. Travel may be difficult due to accumulating snow and some blowing and drifting.
  14. Next Stop was the Beautiful East Shore of Lake _ _ _ _ _ _.
  15. Well it was a beautiful day to get out for a drive with the girlfriend. First stop was the local walleye spawning grounds. I didn't see any walleye in the actual current it was really strong. So i started to scan the slack water and notice the flooded backyard of the house on the right and found them. I dunno how the owner of the house on the right of the river puts up with the flooding waters that happen every year. Can you see them? How about now? Umm would you? The house. I guess it's pretty cool to be able to say that you had walleye and suckers swim on your lawn lol
