  3. welcome aboard its a good place to be, it's kinda like cheers (the bar) eventually u get to know everybody's name
  4. hahah i was thinking the same thing wayne! there are times when the seasoned veteran can learn a trick or two from the rookie but its the other way around for the most part! so theres a year old bull moose and an old bull moose about 10 years old standing on the top of a hill lookin over a gully full of cows. the young bull says to the elder lets run down and screw one! in a low deep voice the old bull replies with how about we walk down and screw them all!
  5. hahah thats true i'm just thinking of my boat which is a 14 foot aluminium with a 25 and rigged up as a cheap poor man (me in other words) bass boat
  6. that is true but for the most part in the majority of boats the motor fuel swivel seat blah blah blah is in the back making u have to be 4oo lbs to get the front to drop a bit
  7. thanks dan, i hope theres no 11 or 12 year old kids on here, even at 21 its kinda heartbreaking!
  8. the funny thing to all this is that i was reading the post the advertising on the top of my screen was (shopzilla) i believe is the name of the company a smoke detec none the less ironic
  9. how small is the boat that the space of a javex bottle (best in my mind) is a concern lol just stirring the pot a bit!!!
  10. why is T.J. saying parkas? i think the scarf needs to come off they look too warm as it is!!!
  11. thats a nice set for sure would post the brow tine buck if i had a pic the rack is hanging at the camp!
  12. this is the most cherished for some obvious reasons being a possible 18 point buck but the second favorite is off of what would have been an 8 pointer but the brow tine being 11" is what makes that shed a dandy
  13. this is the most cherished for some obvious reasons being a possible 18 point buck but the second favorite is off of what would have been an 8 pointer but the brow tine being 11" is what makes that shed a dandy
  14. i can jsut imagine the fight on some light tackle! nice pic
  15. the snakes work well if you know of a good lake with some 4+ pound fish they love em'
  16. just took these with my cell phone camera it had 9 scorable points and only one of which did not grow off the main beam!
  17. i can relate rain snow sleet hail cold hot doesnt matter but wind is terrible, plus i'm shootin an older gamegetter II hoyt bow at 60 lbs its only about a 200fps bow after accesories and i dont know how much a 60+ km/h wind will affect an arrow at 40 or 30 yds at that not gonna chance wounding one! just not in my nature!
  18. i woulda had ta been on th ice i suppose, -29 is my limit -30 not gonna do it but 29 its all a go if the truck and ski-doo start!
  19. more people need to feel this way on a lake i fish near espanola we saw nearly 200 in 3 dead elm trees on a lake with only 15 km of shoreline not a huge lake by any means!!!! and as for limits that depends on how many shells u fell like shootin! what kind of remmy? 870 wingmaster?
  20. are u askin about my boat wolf? cuz its a 16 footer rated for 5 guys so room for one more afterwards. one rule though, no plugs in the gun!!!
  21. i'm always good for a chukle when i see a danbo post hahah
  22. 3 guys in a boat all with semi or pump shotgun 12 guages with 3 1/2 " 00buck shot from 40 yards is good too 9 shots can take down anywhere from 10-30 in a crowded tree so i've been told!
  23. yea a bit of rain isnt so bad when u always carry a clear placstic drop sheet! for this peticular reason, adn they tasted great along with a few late season partidge i got last week so some cast and blast with rice made for a great diner and a light breakfast this mornig. wanted to get out to the stand for a last day deer bowhunt but with 65 km winds i wasnt getting into my stand and dont wanna chance making a bad shot
  24. went out on a shi#$@ty rainy day of plus 5 yesterday to my usual pike lake made a small shelter with a few cedar poles and some clear tarp to keep dry didnt catch a single pike but ended up with a good feed of perch which are normally far and few between on this lake totalled up with 6 perch all about the same size
