  1. a man decides he's gonna go out and try to catch a lake trout through the ice on a nice sunny day he proceeds by loading all of his equipment and hittin the ice he begins drilling his first hole and a voice from above says "there's no fish here" the man taking this as a sign from god looking out for him moves over a few feet and begins to drill another hole, the voice from above once again says "there's no fish here" once again taking this as a sign from the lord he moves over a good 60 feet this time and begins drilling his 3rd hole the voice from above says for the third time "theres no fish here" the man yells at the voice in frustration saying " how do u kow there are no fish here and who are you?" the voice from above replies with a simple "it's the arena manager, now please go home"
  2. wanted to catch 25 LMB over 5 pounds and failed catching 23 and was lookin to beat my cousins personal best LMB of 6.99 lbs weighed in at a tournament 2 years ago weighed it twice and it never hit 7 lbs the largest i caught 6lbs 11oz so she was a cheeseburger away from being 7 but a great season on the water for bass none the less the other was to take one of my less fortunate friends into a lake for speckled trout he has never fished for them before we each caught one over 5lbs out of rubber dinghy's after a 2.5 km walk into this place was and it looked just like paradise and turns out it was.
  3. last summer i had good success with a grub for a trailer on short hit days u can shorten them up quite a bit if u like and they come in just about every colour under the sky

  5. i use a spiderwire xxx braid all i use for my thick and heavy cover flipping is the 20lbs test it is more than strong enough and super thin diameter so when setting the hook it helps cut through weeds reeds pads and aany other cover which i find to be a huge help
  6. i had to read through all of these comments to see if i was the only one who noticed the scandelous show on tv as well lol beuty looking rig tho the shack dont look to bad either!
  7. NO it was quite scary goin out a week ago on little lakes like this maybe a total of 3 inches along with some slush ice picks are handy at all times.

  10. i have a big list circle lk twin lakes twinline lakes penache lake augusta lake mud lake delaney lake depensier lake apsey lake brazil lake lake 12 bird lake boundary lake may lake pawson lake elizabeth lake constant lake triangle lake sausage lake mink lake tea lake glassy lake south river lake nipissing i guess 24 that i can think of most of which are for bass wallies or speckle trout
  11. caught all 6 on 4-5 " golden shiners i trap from this lakes creek the lake is likely no bigger than about 35 acres have caught many large bass 4-5.5 lbs and pike average is from 20"-30" with the odd 3 footer running about 10-13 lbs! my very own little jimmy houston pond! hahah
  12. nothin of major size but i think the full moon may have triggered the 8 strikes we got went to the exact same spot 5 days in a row and the 4 previous not a bite.
  13. i do i have two pics just small ones but the first of the year out of one of my favourite lakes dont think they would have topped the 2 lb mark just a hammer handle.

  15. all i know is that this full moon turned the pike on today i had gotten skunked 4 straight days in a row and today a day where air pressure temp and skies were no different than all week and 8 hits turned into 6 pike!!!
  16. i know my boat had an oil pressure guage and a voltage meter for my batteries
  17. just a little 24 incher and it was 18 below and 26 below with the wind
  18. not a trophy by any means but a quick jump on the seaon this one was pulled out on december 6th we had 5 hits in 2 hours also been out the past 3 days for a few hours in "prime" time and not a bite.
  19. father lives in pembroke he has 2 bushnell's and a moultrie have had little problems with the flash bothering game until this year. had a buck in the area we knew of and he wasnt too photogenic although his wife and kids were all over the camera a whopping 173 pics of them in 3 hours and one of a big buck
  20. was actually out looking for a big 12 point buck i had seen a week before on the roadside near some property i have permission to be on so i took the camera because there is no bow season on that side of the highway, heard the partdridge clucking and putting so i was sneaking in for a photo when i realized why he was so noisy. the fox had it in its mouth shaking it like a dog with a ball.
  21. took the shot myself, unfortunatley i dont have a trail cam yet. hopefully santa pulls through on that
