just started tying streamers and dry flies and spinners a few years back as a hobbie, a lot of choice words and ugly lookin flies and slowly started gettin better hahah dollar store is great look in the "jewellery" section craft section and even the little fishing section for some stufff that you may need

about 300 of them for 1.13 @ Dollarama it's where i got all the beads in my fly box feathers,(hackle) marabou, and a few other things in the craft section

just use a dip net swipe with the current scraping bottom and lifting up hard, as for the lights a small flashlight to see where your going and to find your spot if they're running they're running no need to shine the light on the water it simply spooks them is all.
