  1. I've gone fishin' @ Kelso a couple times (by the beach, to the FAR LEFT of the beach there are sparse weed beds and stuff there) anyway, to sum everything up - I've only caught Panfish...I don't remember ever catching any Crappie.. or even some Rock-Bass... As far as PIKE are concerned, I highly doubt it. Anyone else fished there before? I'd be interested to know if anything else was caught there (aside from what I mentioned)...
  2. Any idea where I/We can get "Bait Harvester License" information?? Can someone provide a link?
  3. Try "Al Flaherty's" on Dufferin (South of Eglinton)... Here's their website.... http://www.alflahertys.com/contact.php
  4. I know there are a few Bait/Tackle Shop owners on the board that'll be able to help you out... I'm interested to know also
  5. Good question, I'm interested to know also
  6. If you play video-games and know the term "Spawn Camper" This is too funny of a picture!
  7. Great... I gotta change pants now! hahaha ITS A BEAUUUUT!!
  8. Being I've never gone... only learned from others off the board (and some in person; Thanks L2P!) I'd say... 4 split shots? 6 max? (depending on how long the lead is from the bobber) uhh.. stagger them out evenly... small hook apparently... like the ones at LeBaron's ... EDIT: I PM'd you TKNOHPY... Fire me an email - I'll send you a file on something posted awhile back.
  9. Ohh Ohh!! I love designing logo's ... It was something I should've done in college instead of getting into I.T field I don't mind trying to come up with a few designs and sharing it.... hahaha... just don't expect it "soon" hahaha... this isn't 'school' ya know!
  10. Yeah, I know what you mean FishinFanatic... I'd prefer something on this website, as oppose to searching all the time off the internet. I'm loving this board ever since I joined! SO MUCH INFORMATION TO ABSORB!! It'd be nice to have a section of people here posting how they DIY their own steel leaders, rigs etc...
  11. Hey OFC'ers... Just wondering if we have a DIY section on this website... The reason why I'm asking; I randomly did a search on GOOGLE IMAGES for the word "OFNCOMMUNITY" and came across this link... http://www.ofncommunity.com/forums/index.p...;blogid=42& Which had me wondering... If anyone knows the answer, I would appreciate it... IF NOT.... Why not have one? There are a lot of topics people might have on a lot of stuff (ie: Making your own leaders, quick-strike rigs, fishing rigs etc...) Thanks! RoB
  12. Yup! always a good reminder - I've been to that site... but I've personally found this site to be the best... http://www.fishing-live-bait.com/fishing-k...hing-knots.html good instructional videos.... and he uses more visible props...(than other guys using ACTUAL fishing line) nothing worse than actually being out on the water... then FORGETTING how to tie it (its happened to me already this year when I was thinking of the Uni-Knot and the Snell)
  13. Name? Model? EDIT: Not a Float Fisherman - just thought I'd mention it, since it IS crucial
  14. Thanks Cudz... I didn't think I'd get that fast of a response, considering the time right now Thanks bud...
  15. Hey Addicts... Just had a question about rods for plastics. I'm currently using a Spinning setup to toss out plastics; and that rod has a lure/bait rating of 1/8 to 3/4oz. ... but it had me thinking... I absolutely LOVE using baitcast reels... now, I just recently purchased a Medium action Casting/Trigger Rod that can toss out lures/baits in the range of 1/4 to 5/8oz. Will this Medium Action Casting/Trigger rod do the same job as my Spinning setup will? or will I need to purchase a separate MEDIUM-LIGHT CASTING/TRIGGER rod to do the same thing? I know it depends on the weight of the plastic & hook itself combined...I'm just hoping I can get away with using the Casting/Trigger setup instead of the Spinning setup. Also, I've been searching on the BASSPRO.COM website, and haven't come across any Casting/Trigger rod that is a MEDIUM-LIGHT action rod in a 2PC... Does anyone know of any companies that DO make them.... I prefer to get a pretty cheap rod ($100 MAX.) This also had me thinking/wondering if they even DO make a MEDIUM-LIGHT CASTING/TRIGGER rod. If anyone can help me with these 2 questions, I would really appreciate it. Thanks Folks... Rob
  16. LOL! No kidding! hahaha... but you know... I'm glad i'm not the ONLY PERSON that's addicted to this sport! LOL.... As much as I hate to say this... YOU GUYS MAKE ME FEEL NORMAL!!
  17. A lot of the fishing stores/booths are selling Gulp!Alive... buy 4 and get a free Gulp!Alive tackle bag to hold the containers... Some with Lures 3 for $10 etc... Rod/Reel Combo's (as usual)... Not too sure about the Curado200E7's or Shimano Compre Rods... wasn't in the market for new "artillery"... I know the GRIMSBY TACKLE booth is having a sale on their ROD & REELS (no tax).. Hope that helps.. any other questions, lemme know (I'll hopefully be able to recall what I saw there)... oh man, I spent another $200 at the show - I swear, I won't need to buy anything for YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAARS!!!!!
  18. w00t! Leaving for the show in a couple hours... thanks TJ!
