Funny but I would have thought that you would spam right back Joey I mean give him, her or whatever a piece of your mind!
  3. Geeze Ramble keep this up and we will have to send you out on these trips full time
  4. I must add some positives about BPS though, their customer service reps all are top notch. And by the way an new Canadian store will be opening up and I believe it will be in the Montreal area.
  5. When in doubt simply compare to the Wood Spyder
  6. People are allowed to voice their opinion besides most business owners or corporations take such criticism in a constructive way to improve their service and customer relations do they not? When more than a few consumers voice negative opinions then it's time to take notice and deal with it. While no business is perfect the successful ones do pay attention to the details of their customers. Enough said?
  7. BPS seems to have such low regard for the Canadian shopper in the first place, the web site and printed catalogs are focused on US customers and all pricing is in US funds. If you notice in the latest BPS "Toronto" flyer the tailgate sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the US and district of columbia. So we should shop at BPS why?
  8. Pulling the coil wire constantly is not a good idea because you can damage the wire or weaken the plug connection. The best way to disable the ignition is to wire a switch into the primary coil wire somewhere in between the coil and the stop switch.
  9. Dude you have to take her to a fancy store and let her pick out what she wants and what she is happy with ... Or there may not be 'next summer'
  10. An outboard could be rigged with an ear piercing alarm. Of course if one was crafty enough a permanent dye bomb could be rigged as well hehe just look for the florescent pink thief
  11. I can see the value however original techniques could only be used unless credit is given to the originator. This then brings up a few issues , does all material become property of this site including pictures? If the tip or techniques was originally developed by someone else would the site be responsible for compensation? Perhaps a new section related to camping could be added as well.
  12. If the bear does get sick let me know, one of the ML managers lives right across the street. Haven't seen him around much though
  13. I drive by every thurs or Fri stopped in once this year and bought nothing, plenty of people in there though. When they get serious with Canadian catalogs and fair prices then we will see... Meanwhile order a catalog or two and start building your want list
  14. Sure are purdy looking fish!
  15. Well funny when you are watchin
  16. Congratulations! You two make a terrific couple and the pictures are spectacular, what a great way to begin a happy life together
  17. Picture perfect trip! And that is a rather nice tent can you give me some details on it?
  18. Was anyone fishing above the bridge?
  19. If you haven't used a baitcasting setup before then go with a spinning outfit first with a medium rod. The choice of brand and style is really up to you so go to a store with a good selection and check them out.
  20. Change your oil and note the color and if any water is present. concerning your plugs there is no need to change them and a hotter plug if available might promote detonation at full throttle and that could cause permanent damage. If your plugs are in good shape with sharp edges just clean them with carb cleaner and use air to blow out any debris. The dark color of the plugs is an indication that the engine fuel mixture may be rich and stalling at low speed would back that up. The best thing you could do when this 4 stroke is broken in would be to use Royal Purple synthetic oil it's superior in every way for this engine with better protection, performance ,fuel economy, and the internals will be so much cleaner.
  21. Are they stocking the pond well? Haven't been there in ages myself and never caught a bow but it was fun just the same.
  22. Bucktail you have my condolences, your pride clearly shines through of how special your Dad is to your family.
  23. Well then ever think of unbolting the couch from the boat and get another 5 mph? So Cudz how tasty were the perch?
  24. Not related at all however I read the story in the Toronto star today where the "habitual" drunk driver who killed two seniors ( Rammed their car and pushed then into a passing train) was sentenced to only 7.5 years in prison. So honestly these creeps who stole property will get a slap and tickle and be sent on their merry way. Canada's justice system is pathetic and these criminals know what they can get away with but I hope you testify at the trial and spread the word around the community to warn others..
  25. This is sad to hear My condolences to his family
