I was planning on doing a road trip to Newfoundland for this year if things work out in search of the mighty Lobsters for my tummy and take some scenic pictures. Last year I did a road trip out west to BC and it was fun. If you have never done the road trip it's something you MUST do atleast once. Oh by the way the once you leave ontario the prairies are so boring and flat. Hopefully, going to Newfoundland by car would be a blast.

All the above spots mentioned are great spots during the spring time you just gotta go and try it. I would go leslie spits first, ontario place harbour front before heading to frenchmans bay depending where you live. Right now the water is still cold toss a 4" chub with a float and relax or work a jerk bait with slow retrieve.

You can try Island lake in Oakville for the bass, pike, perch and bluegils Andrew

If you like Perch you are approximately 45 min away from Gilford and Lefroy. Fish near 14 fow to 30 fow as a starting point and you can go deeper or shallower for that matter. Hook and minnows works well but so do the tiny Rapala jigging raps etc... If you want whitefish and lake trout, Kemp area is about the same distance give or take a little and try Bear Point, Big Bay Point, Innisfil Beach, 6th line 8th line etc... You can find these fish in the 80 fow range as a start and you can can go way shallow or way deeper. You can use hook and minnows, williams jigging spoon, bad boys, meegs, blue fox foxxies etc.... That should get you started!!!
