The Kawarthas already have a self sustaining walleye population so it's different than Hamilton H or Toronto Islands.

I read Balsam was thought to be different than the other Kawartha lakes and the walleye would benefit with the different slot regs. That doesn't really make sense to me. It seems pretty similar to Pigeon for example.
