Seeing as your in the GTA I would recommend NOT getting a new one through bell/rogers, they screw you when your under contract and need a new phone, tried to charge me $200 for a basic phone. There's tons of little electronics stores especially downtown that have phones that they unlock and set up for you for cheap I'm sure you can find the balckberry you want for a lot less than bell, I got my Palm Treo for $50 and they connected it for free at a little store on danforth. -Ben

I went out on Thursday for another try at some Lake O Pike and got a couple smaller fish and one fat 32 incher. It was the fattest Pike I've ever caught. Usually I grab pike behind the head but I couldn't fit my hand around this one and had to scoop him onto shore with my arms. Amazing fight, when I released him he completely soaked me! Can't wait to see this guy at 40+ inches! Too bad it was a blurry pic. -Ben

Went out for some Pike fishing in Toronto on Tuesday. I only got 1 small guy but saw 3 fish that were at least 35-40 inches sitting right on the bottom not moving and inch. I had time to put 3 or 4 lures in front of these fish and they wouldn't even move... I even bumped my soft swimabait off of the nose of one! He didn't even move after a tap in the face by a lure, what the hell!!! I'm going to try again tomorrow but who knows. Saw a bunch of people fishing who also weren't having much luck, forgot to ask who's on OFC, Had a little chat with the Fishing Fury guys but forgot to introduce myself and ask for some of those sexy spinners -Ben

For pretty much my whole life I'd just let them die in a dry livewell but after talking to a couple chef students I know they tell me that the flesh will be a lot better if the fish dies quickly...if you don't kill them quickly apparently lactic acid and toxins get into the flesh which isn't tasty, so bleeding them wouldn't be my first choice... Screwdriver straight threw the brain in my opinion is the quickest way...next question Flat head or Phillips? -Ben

I like the spro frogs alot, haven't tried the mann's ones or the Snag proof. The spro's are pretty inconsistent though, some of them are really rigid and feel thicker than others, When I buy em I always squeeze them threw the plastic package to try and find the softer ones lol, if you see the frog section at some tackle store and all the packages are dented in it was prolly me -Ben
