Lew, Bernie and TJ, With Firefox and Club skin the issue of clicking the back button twice will not happen, I'm not exactly sure why but works for me..... and it's free and has more security features then Windows Internet Explorer

doack, here's a pic of the jigs we were using.... I was using the 1/4oz blue and silver, tipped with white fish fry and Kevin the 1/4oz glow, tipped with chartreuse fry as shown in the pic below The technique he and I used was to let the jig fall to the bottom, pickup the slack, raise the rod tip a foot and let it fall to the bottom.... we do this 5-6 times then jerk the tip of the rod, making the jig bounce / thump of bottom 5-6 times and repeat the cycle. We would mix it up.... jig thump jig thump jig.... thump thump thump....and most often when jerking the tip end of the rod would trigger a strike. Gulp fish fry is key ingredient in our presentation, it really works. It's good for other species like perch, crappie, walleyes.... etc Hope this helps Leechman

Welcome to OFC fishinFanatic69 You've made the right choice to join and from the replies you got.... I gather that you will not be tipped or given info of some of the hot spots in your area..... and that's understandable. Hot spots are something that no one want's to share. The legwork that was put in and efforts in finding a productive area is something to be silent about. Where you live, you are surrounded by lot's of great bodies of water that's waiting for you to explore. Wish I could help you more but for the most part.... going out and putting in the legwork is what's best. Good luck on your hunt and looking forward to your future reports Leechman

So sorry to hear of this sad news Bernie. Wish I could say something to ease the pain your family is going through but unfortunately there are none. Only time will heal. Remember the good times you had with him and cherish them in your heart. Thoughts and prayers are with you Jacques
