I'm no expert on this matter but think drifting in a boat and dragging it on the bottom will yield results.... just got to locate drop offs and structure.

Yeah Brian... just got it too.... but this time with a pic
Man she's a 200Lbs largie
Roy.... next time I get another will note the date and time stamp

White 3" tube tipped with a dew worm caught me this big cat first time using tubes....
Also this nice sauger
and this rock bass
So to answer your question..... yes it works real good!!!
Leechman
The tubs I use are Berkley's and what I do is put the used one back into the Gulp juice for future use.... it recharges it and is as good as new for the next time I use it

Kev sometimes they shut right down.... there was a cold front yesterday and after talking with Paul tonight.... heard the surface temp was at 73C today major change from last Sunday which was in the 80ies....
The tip I can give you is go straight to the North side into the big bay and start working the pencil reeds with a jitterbug or hula popper..... then proceed to working the slop using sinking minnows wackie style.... spinnerbaits is always a killer also
Good luck tomorrow.... will be waiting for your report
Remember what we talked about tonight Paul.... give the popper a try and see.... you just never know
Good luck to both of you!!!
Jacques
For me 7" Gulp minnow worm in cherry seed for smallies and 5" black sinking minnows for largies.... rigged wackie style on a #4 Octopus hook..... never tried any other colors

Just as the sun sets until dark is the best top water action time you can get.... Jitterbugs, Houla Poppers, Zara Spooks, Frogs etc.... are some of the lures to name a few that will yield results!
Nice looking bass! Congrats
