  1. Congratz on the two biggies, Beans. Sure takes the sting out of loosing those other ones( whatever they were ). And if you only lost $3 worth of gear on a trip, I'd call that success!
  2. Stop me if you've heard this one. Q: Why don't rockbass fight? A: Cuz theyknow they'll be released.
  3. With the starters always getting shelled early, they've had to ride the pullpen pretty hard. Me thinks they're starting to show the wear now.
  4. I love wading for bass on the Grand as well. At this one spot I hit, I nearly always see minks on the far bank while I'm fishing. Nice to enjoy, particularly when the fishing is slow. Thanks for posting that Tbay.
  5. No they don't. Just listen to any Rogers Media property.
  6. You say; "So THAT'S what an 8 pounder looks like. Well, then MINE must be a 20." lol
  7. Wow, I actually wasn't aware that Asian Carp were brought in on purpose to control water quality in aquaculture farms. Nobody thought this would be a bad idea???????
  8. Ok, now I haven't camped there in years( but LOVED it when I did ). I remember fishing in May and getting pike and walleye in the river right in the park. I beleive there's was bass and carp in there as well. Good luck. A great park with one of the best beaches around.
  9. Ok, right at the checkout at Canadian Tire stores( I've been to two different location and seen it at both ), there's this big stand-up poster of a boy fishing from a boat with his father. Well, the kid has an excited expression on his face as he shows a fish on the end of his line. Well, take a close look at the fish. It's already gutted and cleaned!!! It really had me laughing! The agency that created the poster probably thought no one would notice.
  10. From gar to carp to bass, nice specimens all! Some exceptional picture taking there too.
  11. Some nice ones there Rich and good job on the photos.
  12. Terrific news for you Aaron. I always enjoyed your early shows with Barry, and will no doubt enjoy your work on such a high profile program. Break a leg! ( That's good luck in show biz )
  13. Nice job Trev. Long and lean and a real beauty! And I argree with Rich that's a trophy Commom especially when you consider the river you caught it. Take a bow.
  14. Yuck. That name kinda stinks.
  15. I must be full of useless knowledge too, Lew. Cuz I know I'm full of somethin'.
  16. I could not have voiced my confusion about dropshotting any better Old Ironmaker! Looking forward to the input. - A Fellow Dinosaur -
  17. Wow, that is a great weekend of fishing! Lots of big, bruising gold you guys got yourself there! Congratualations and some really nice pics of the hogs too.
  18. What a read and what pics! Just awesome. And I am not swimming anywhere you're fishin' for those Moosebunk!
  19. Now THAT looks like a good time! Some nice fish you got out of the big water there, and terrific pics to remember 'em by. Thanks for sharing that with us RJ and congratulations on the captures!
  20. Since you mentioned Hamilton, have you been to the Canada Centre For Inland Waters fishing platform? There is a nice wooden platform there for wheelchairs but no shade unfortunately. Also it's primarily a carp fishery and not really good if you wanna target bass. Just thought I'd metion it, thought, as an option.
  21. Way to persevere through the elements, Rich. Darn nasty day with little to show for your efforts 'til the very end. Makes a catch like that even more satisfying.
  22. The key is to never jump off Lew. lol
  23. A pocket full of Panther Martins and hiking a stream for Brookies. Paradise!!! Way to go Miro and congratulations on your success.
  24. Great report and pics, Chris, especially the action shot with the jumping bow. Awesome! Looks like you got the Paparazzi following you around! lol
  25. I've got one Roy but the picture file size remains the same when I transfere from Photobucket onto the our message board. I USED to right click the pic on Photobucket and go to 'properties' and copy and past the 'address' but that doesn't seem to work now.
