  4. I have been consumed with the assisting of flooding in the area if any OFNers have family in the area or residents that need to be checked pm me the info and I will be pleased to check on it for you. The area is under blockade with the police etc. and they are keeping the curious people from driving into the area. The roads need to be left open for emergency vehicles etc. I will be there most of the day tomorrow and hopefully things will not be as bad. Things seem to be under control of sorts today and and the warmer temperatures in the next couple of days without rain will help some. There is concern of the melting snow north of here (the Bancroft area) and now I have reports of the area just south of Stocco Lake are bagging sand as that area is also under pressure of flooding. Regards, Sam
  5. Hi Everyone, Well all of the volunteers and homeowners in the area are patiently waiting to see what the next couple of days will bring. All of the homes are near the river have the sandbags in place and the water level did not rise overnight. I know that some of the residents in the effected area are trying to clean up the mess that they have presently and they are hoping that the river that is to crest in the next couple of days will be held back with all of their efforts. Here are a few more pics of the area and the Moira river flowing to the Bay of Quinte. Iwould think that the water level in the Bay of Quinte is up by now to normal levels. Regards, Sam
  6. You can either take Hwy 62 north to Foxboro and then head east and there will be someone there or take Hwy 37 north to Harmony road and they should be able to direct you from there. Regards, Sam
  7. Here are a couple of pics of what some of the homeowners are up against. Apparently the river will be cresting by Wednesday or Thursday. I will be back at it tonight, if you show up in the area the people at the blockade will direct you in the direction that needs help. Regards, Sam
  8. Hi Everyone, The Moira river is flooding many residents in the Foxboro area, Harmony Rd. and Hwy 37 areas. I was there with my truck this evening delivering sand bags to local residents and some had to evacuate their homes. Many of us were helping with the sandbagging and then I went to assist with the delivery of the sandbags. I will be back at it tomorrow after we get some staff in the store to free me up at approximately 9:30 am and if anyone can donate a couple of hours I am sure the community in the flooded areas will appreciate your assistance. Hope to see you there. Best regards, Sam
  9. Happy Birthday Bly and hope you have a great day and extend it into the weekend. Regards, Sam

  12. Yes I do know where this buck was taken and it was just north of 401 on Harmony Road, the funny thing is I seen him last year on the property next to where I was hunting geese and he looked big then and I could not tell how big he really was and I also could not hunt on the property that the deer was living on. He was seen daily in the corn field from a distance and I could not tell how many points and the funny part was that he was always under a tree stand. Well I did get to see him again when he came in to get mounted. He is impressive and I am pleased that I was able to mount it for the owner. Regards, Sam
  13. This buck weighed in at 246 lbs. Regards, Sam
  14. Hi Everyone, This past hunting season a resident of Belleville was deer hunting and harvested a dream come true for many deer hunters. His name is Mark Sorge and he took this fine specimen a 23 point buck that is now officially scored for the Boone and Crockett record book as well as FROW the Ontario record book. The buck scored an impressive 240.0 points and is officially the # 2 buck of all time in Ontario. Carra Outdoor Sports mounted this buck and it is on display at our store for a couple of months. If you are interested in viewing him come on in and I am sure you will be impressed by this magnificent creature. I have attached a quick pic. Regards, Sam

  19. Well there are a couple of players in this field that are doing their darnest to make us fishing people pleased with their accomplishments. Most of the older ones are becoming has been in some sort of way and I always look for new comers as they are truly attempting to clean up the foul attempts that others have done. They are very informative and pleasing to the viewing audience. These guys are not necessarily new comers however they are fighting to get to the top and have come a long ways in their quest. I cast my vote for Getting Hooked............Aaron Shirley and Barry Pringle......and you never know maybe TonyB is also trying to get in the mix he certainly has the talent to captivate audiences as well as Aaron and Barry. Just my thoughts, Regards, Sam
