I am looking to buy a sebile onduspoon and was on youtube to see how they work and I can across this vid. At first I thought they were trying to catch pike and were putting minnows on their spoons but I soon figured out that the minnows were actually the target species. I guess this is what fishing in France is all about. Weird.

no doubt. i used to fish salmon in the rivers and i can remember catching a nice 15 pound female on a ratltrap in the mouth. No accident there. It was probably a reaction strike but she was also still pretty silver. I believe that fish do still eat in the rivers but that is not what I started this thread for. My issue was that when I asked the guy if he was flossing for salmon, he said "yes".

There are loads of nice houses on the north shore of kbay but that is my fave. I was in the boat today and I past it and I would be happy living in the boat house. I love that house. Tazxes not too bad. That big grey house in Tollendale was listed at 7.5 million and because it was in Barrie their taxes were $67,500 per year. You give me that house I would have a hard time paying to stay there.

Ok, so it wasn't a real tournament but we have these on a regualr basis and today I won. Each person has 30 minutes to choose a spot to fish and the other 2 people in the boat obviously have to follow (we are all in the same boat). Every 30 minutes there is a new person in charge of location so it is always changing. Prize is 20 wings to winner with the losers paying. We weigh our 3 biggest bass. Today, I won. Jaydub and Jimmy are buying the wings on Monday night. Woohoo! Here are a few pics of some of the hogs we got into. My biggest fish. Jaydubs biggest fish of the day Jimmy's biggest fish of the day. He tells me salmon. I shake my had and laugh. Then I ask him if he is flossing (obviously) and he answers yes. I tell him that cigarette buts work just as well and that isn't really fishing. I must admit that I did not know what flossing was until about 2 or 3 years ago and I never did it as a kid fishing on the river. Now I know, I would never even try it. Maybe people who do it don't realize it is kind of like cheating or snagging. Is it possible if they were more informed that they would stop doing it?
