Has anyone fished by the Skyway lift bridge in the hammer? I went down there today and fished off one of the piers leading to lake O for two hours. I will be heading back tomorrow morning since Bronte seems a little dead by Dundas. If so what have you caught before?

It was fairly cheap too nothing special from Wal-Mart its a ''R2F WALLEYE SPIN COMBO W/KIT''. The rod it self looked and felt pretty solid which caused me to buy it. My question is, I saw a post today on here asking if he should use Fluorocarbon or Power Pro. I was kind of confused as being new to the sport and was wondering do you replace your entire line and use one of those brand names or just take 8-10 feet and attach it on? I'm sorry if this seems like a silly question. My line came already on the reel so is this good enough for someone who goes off shore fishing mostly who wants to catch the normal game fish, Trout, bass, Walleye , Pike etc. Would the line just snap if i caught a biggie? I hope this makes sense. lol

Hmm I'm new to this and have a question. Would I use these power pro or fluoro as my Spinning Reels new line or just for the first 6-10 feet? Right now i just have the line that came with the rod.. Thanks.

I just came back form fishing at the boat release near Hutched. Stayed for 2 hours through the rain like an idiot with only a rain jacket. haha I only got a few nibbles. I have yet to catch anything. SBCregal and Benti we all should go out this weekend or one evening.

hey I'm form Burlington as well. Just starting to fish again for the first time in 9 years. I'm 20. If your down for fishing once or so a week I'm down. I'm actually going to head down to that Hutches area tonight and try it out.

Those are some nice fish!. I would go but I'm sure my rod couldnt handle one of those Salmon.

The hype about Piranha's are funny I don't feed them raw meat as it clouds and the water and causes problems. I feed them Fish fillets or shrimp. the odd time fish pellets if they take it. In my old shoal of Piranha's they would have nipped the carp to death.

There is a pretty fair sized market out there for them. The 12'' Rhom i have is worth about $300 For all those guys I made $350.
