KBAY is the deepest of all the lake.Has the most servere drop offs. It always freezes last. Places like BP will freeze up first,but you take a chance out there, if a good wind picks up. Just wait for those 3-4 days of no wind and deep temps.It will take a good solid week for the ice to form right.

Myself,I really enjoy fishing Couch.Offers lots of different structure and fish for a small lake. If yer there for the week,take a trip up the canel and fish Sparrow aswell. Like mentioned,get yerself a good map.Dont be zippen around,unless you know the lake.

Auger holes in the low spots(4 inch is best).Let the rink flood naturally.Areas that seem itchy,just chip them out and use the snow and add water.Just like they do with the pro rinks. I have built many of these when the boys were young...
