My wife woke me up one early morning. What I seen was alarming. Side of her face was droopy. Numb arm. Rush to the hospital and was told it was Bells Palsy. It took about 2-3 weeks before the effects were gone.Full recovery. Then again,theres an old friend from work that was striken with it. This was 10 years ago. I see him now and then,and you can still see the effects. Body function is normal,but his facial is noticeable.

Do an engine search. Lots on this place.

My first plan was to try and hit the river this morning,but looking at the grid last night,it was easy to change plans and hit the ice. Terry and I had a few hours to fish this morning,so we hit a new spot to us and gave it a try. Lots of holes and little rewards. I did manage to get a feed for my lunch today. Im back on this fresh water fish then again. FRESH IS GOOD. On my way to our spot,I came accross a yote in a corn field. Then I see this other moving animal further out. From the long distance,I thought it was a deer. It was large in size.I decided to pull over and watch to see what was about to unfold. Lighting was bad,so pic, didnt turn out great. The yote seems to be stalking the other out in the field. After about 2 minutes or so,it became clear the other animal was a very large yote. One of the biggests I have seen.This is probly a 300 yard shoot to the one in the open field. First yote Second one I thought was a deer the first was stalking. So back to heading to the ice hook up. Walking was great,if you had cleats. They sure are worth their weight in gold. We fished for about 4 hours drilling many holes looking for yellow bellies,but they didnt seem to in the biten mood.. Managed just enough perch and pike bait ( HH ) for a snack for my lunch. All caught on the skud. There was this pressure crack that I wanted investigate and see if I could take some good pics. South to north. Some random shots. Thought these two looked like wings. Inside the crack. This I thought was my coolest shot. You can see the layers in which the leaf has melted in. Frozen in time. Hope to get out one more time for some perch,til then it,s lunch time

Bill,that use to a bad ass spot for big late ice gators. I pick that spot so it,s a short walk for everyone. Yes the kids made for some good laughs. I was watching Caleb,and was hopeing that rod and hook didnt come flying up in your face Ry.LOL

But hey,thats fishing. Was looking forward to catching and meeting up with some members today. The grand kids were all pumped to get out. The gang arrived pretty much before 9ish. Terry and I scouted the area . Found lots off fish,(on the screen) but very finicky. Had set pike lines out and perch fished with our second rods. Some dinks were caught,but for the amount we seen on all screens,it was a very very slow outing. What ya going to do. It,s been along ice season. Fish are probly looking forward to open waters and warmer temps just like us anglers. Maybe next year we can hit a productive perch area. Some pics I took of the ones that made the show. Burtess and his daughter Corey. Ryan and his son,,,,,,dang,forgot his name. Sorry. Terry and Naw. The trio cast of grandkids. Lil,shi and brec. The kids enjoyed the man made live well. Still a good time out. Next year,we will do a perch G2G. LOL Thanks to Burt for drilling up the holes,and Naw for the coffee and donuts for all.

Maybe it,s the same lady that throws rocks at anglers. I heard she has called the OPP many times. She was charged and they ignore her calls now. Im looking forward to a float down the river this year. Just need to get a few guys together so we can have a drop off and pick up.
