It,s pretty much what I was given by one of my uncles many years ago. it looked like a suit case. Strapped it to the top of my ole chevet. LOL It was a trunk that was 4'x4'x4'. It was held together with a 4' hinge. I fished and duck hunted out of it.

Im sure the ones I seen were old Nls. They were that green color. I know my BIL had one many years ago. Maybe he still has it. I,ll have to give him a call. That thing just zipped through the ice.

I remember seeing perch fells with 2.5-3.5 inch ice augers for perching. Has anyone seen these for sale any where? Would be nice to have for locating depths quick with the electric. Instead of augering 8 inch holes all the time. Thanks B

You boys?? You said Joe I said open when op is going up that way. LOL As for the lake,Fairy, I have only fished it twice from a boat. Pike are there. if you look at a map,you will find access from a boat launch in town. Cant say you will find them there though. You could trip up to Doe if you want. Pike,perch and the odd eye and the odd white fish. Never caught one though, but the locals say they are there.

I work with a fella thats wife worked for ZELLERS. She was a full timer. Was not offered a place at the new store here in Barrie. She was told to apply for a postion. That to me, is very bad and really really RUDE.

Going to go check them out here in the morning. Last year they had all their units at crazy prices. If they have the big buddy on sale here,I,ll be all over it and keep the little buddy as a back up. Can never be toooo warm, in the hub.LOL

I like to support our local guy. I have even told him straight up,I,ll spend an extra buck or two on items then give to CTC or wally worls or Cabels.. No issues there for me. But the big ticket items he has now,I wont. I wont get into details,but when I can save 40-60 bucks else where,well thats not a few dollars is it. I have even told him that. Not sure of his thinking,but it,s his store right.
