From what I understand, the Canadian stores are not owned by theUSA owner. Is this true? I could not get something shipped from the USA stores, as the one here said they were Canadian owned, and they didnt do bussiness with the USA branches.

I know I seen a stretch of river where minnows were jumping about and right after,there were some big swirls and splashes. No dought they were chomping on them minnows. I have also heard of some guys using gulp finness minnows, under their floats.

I have been just fishing the river tribs the last 2 1/2 months Nick. Have not even thought of perching. The toon is packed away til next spring now. If you launch the yak at hooters, you will be fine. No paying on weekends. I know that the shinners are in full blown. Been stopping by the marina every morning to watch them flip and flop on the surface. I have even tried chucking some big jerk baits for monster pike, but no luck yet.

Trying to deal with my first year in many ,not being able to be out there. That hurts. The warmer then norm temps have eazed the pain abit. LOL

I will give one plus here on this. BPS nows how to stock. This is where our local Cabelas failed. As one that was so looking forward to thier arrival here, I am very disappointed. EDIT to add I have spent more $ at our local small guy shop. He has done well supplying for the area.

Mike, I will be the first to say that many of us here ( I am in front of the line here) read things different when posted. I took it as there was the bad vibe against being gay and holding a postion. The guy has just got in and it seems anyone that didnt want him in, are jumping all over him without even giving him a chance. I was listening to a good talk show this morning that stated the world is looking at what we just did. Voting in a young man to rule. There seems to be alot of positive. Like I sated before, I dont stand for most of his beliefs, but at least give the guy a chance. The country has changed. Some may not like it, but it is what it is. Cliff and I can butt heads and still say hello friend.

WOW Cliff. I never took you as such a negitive man. I think what he is trying to do is cover the whole base of this country. I may not totally agree with everything he stands for, but I think it,s a good step IMO. OK SHOOT ME NOW.
