  1. I have no idea about what you dealing with or how too. I can talk to you about bearings and seals though some what. I am not there to see them , also Im a hands on guy and do have a hard time saying properly the how toos, Thats why Wayne is here. LOL Look at the seals for wear. Uneven wear. If they seem to be round and no indication of wear, you will be fine. Now the bearings. If you can roll them on your finger and feel smooth rotation with not a bit of grind or staggering, they will be fine. Are these sealed with steel or rubber? Also, look for pick up on the shaft and the inside of the bearings. Pick up is scratching on the shaft or in the inner surface of the bearing. If you have this, then you need to use like 600-up to 1200 emory to remove the groves, scrathes on the shaft and require new bearings and seals. If the bearings are steel sealed, you need to make sure there is no indents on the sealed area. If so, you will need to replace them. With the rubber sealed ones, you will see if it is torn or broke through. Sound right Wayne?
  2. Tom, I have a great pair of Bare waders. From my ankles up, I am toasty warm wadeing up to my waist. No matter what I have tried,me feet still get cold. Not right away, but after a few hours,I can feel them getting cold. I find they get worst after getting out and fishing from dry land, so I just deal with it til I cant no longer. I guess I could go another size up on my boots, and add another pair of socks, but I think that would be to tight and make them uncomfortable. My feet that is. I would like to hear from others as well that have to deal with cold feet.
  3. Green here still. LOL Talk to me mudder today. Snow in the morning, gone by noon.
  4. Mike ,you know that private spot at the bend, I seen a few large yotes going at it. It was to the finish,so I thought. You might want to rethink fishing that area.
  5. That works for me, lol
  6. Enrich I hear ya on the price thing. Finbor 3 ,s are 60-100 bux. My drill package was 385. ( milwackie with 2x 4hr batteries and charger) I am now going to be buying the new clam adaptor. Thats another 100 bux. I,ll bet though, I,ll get just as many hole as the ION. Thats $585. My question though, how you going to use that thing in the summer?
  7. Cliff, I,ll bet that made your morning. I am always watching for them and have seen several when walking to my spots. Sometimes they will just stand there and see whats making the noise coming towards them. Walk slow and you will see more. Last year I had one standing 20 yards from me while I was drifting. I dont know how long he was standing there,as when I turned and noticed him, he was taking a sip from the river. We both never moved for about 30 seconds. Then he just turned and walked away.

  12. That would be a silly thing right now. Riem is shining and it,s so great to see. Both he and Bern can be a great duo. Lets let it wash out and see. Babs not a choker or quick trigger guy.

After a few days of watching him, we found him biteing at the dresser and eating the wood. Had a camera put down and yup, sliver of the wood in his throat. Stupid dog . Giz is still giz here. He barks and dances around til we pay attention to him. He really likes dry roasted peanuts. Not too many though. I need my fill..LOL
