Yup, I have the same as well. I tried that orange plastic one, I keep it in the truck for emergency use, along with scarf and floater beads. Never know when the egg sinker/floating bag, might be the ticket. I bought one of those Cardinal 3,s ( the black ones) when they first came out. They were the must have spinning reel back in the early 80.s. I bought mine from K-Mart in Brampton. I since then,have three of them and spare spools. Never use the dang things anymore.LOL I have one of those Doug. I use it for chucking baits ( spinners,flatfish and kwic fish)

The rule for maintenance guys Lew is, work during shut downs. In the past, I would be looking for a break as to all the hours and days I had put in over the year, but still needed to get things done. Since I have stepped back and working 40-44 hr weeks the past few months, I am not so stressed about working them. Off today til sunday, then have some machines to over haul and move, monday to wed. Then off til the 5th of jan. Life is good. Or getting better I should say. Happy holidays to you and Di.

The pop hubs and flips. They are aero for the wind. They can be banked and anchored. Some guys don't anchor or bank their flips. They do on occasion, get flipped ( extream windy days).
