Had to see the eye guy this morning. Those that remember my detachment,I need to see him every 6 months. He was happy with what he saw. Things seem to be good from what I can see as well Black and purple #6 jigs. Tungsten bead heads. Streamer style and twitch jig.

Where the fresh cometh in. Was pretty much a 30 minute window. After that,shut down. All reports the same from buddies.

Finally we are getting that fall weather that sings, steelhead is in the rivers. Yes they are. A couple of nice eaters.

It was disgusting to watch this video. This leads me to say I really like where the bass tournys are going to in the states. A scrutineer that is with the angler and weighs the fish right there and released. I think you will see a length instead of weight coming soon for pickeral tournys. . To add, I was very surprised these guys were not getting their licks from the ugly mob. It could of gotten even worse. Good on the other anglers for just keeping as cool as they could , under the circumstances.

Gifted my oldest grandson with a couple of river gifts. He has become quite the river rat. Seems to be following in the steps of poppy and his dad. Dad and son have have been having a great re bonding. Brings joy to my heart. He will grow into the new stick, a pin will be a couple years away, but a spinning reel will do for now.

How true and sad this is. The money brought in for lic, it is insanely gross. The lack of enforcement we have for fish and game is brutal . I think those that get a free pass for age 65,should still pay 1/2 price of tags. There, I said it, and will do the same when it is my time. We all enjoy, so atleast pay.

1" seems pretty skinny. Why the long handle? My fixed seat is 6" butt, 7 1/2" front. Going fix seat, has been great now. The short butt does not get caught up in my under arm, it just sits in the crotch of it.
