Thats my uncle from NFLD. We were fishing for perch one day on Simcoe and he was one lucky dude to land that brute on 2 pound floro. True story.

Battery is pouched sir. I charged mine aswell before putting it away and I got the same thing. I even put it through a cycle where my charger will send pusating charges through the battery to remove any build up on the cores,that didnt even help. If your lucky your only running a 12 volt motor,if not,well I would suggest buying two new ones,not just one new and have an old one joined to it.

What do you mean,like it,s shutting down (the charger)? This maybe caused by a bad cell. I had one this year and it did the same thing. It would start to charge then it quit and gave me an error reading that I had a bad cell. Check the caps while your at it to. If you see lots of black,you have over cooked your battery. Hope this helps.

Meegs tipped with a 1 inch green tube works great. If ya dont got that then a jigging Rap will do also. Just look for the crowd out there. Anchor somewhere in the area and just drop the lure to the bottom and move yer bait slowing in a vertical postion about 2 inches up and slowly back down. No need for live bait. Launching I,ll leave to someone else on that side.

Make sure the area is clean.You can put a drop or two of 3 in 1 oil.I wouldnt use a spray.

Grease the shaft as like said by BM, it will become as one,or if anything hard to get off,plus it will work it,s way into the bearing some what and it,s all good.. As for the bottom end thing.I went 5 years with my 78 Johnson doing like I said,just changing the oil. If you want to be at ease,get it looked at and fxed. It,s only a little water in some oil.It,s not like your running a 250 or something. JMHO.
