  10. Well tomorrow I will be leaving my home and family in Oshawa and will be moving out to Lindsay to be going to Fleming College. Year 1 of the Fish & Wildlife Tech program begins on Tuesday but being on my own starts tomorrow . Living off campus and away from home for the first time will be a experience in it's self. I have a few people that will be showing me the area and will be helping me get started out along with my passion of fishing. Yes, more to come this fall from MTBF Wish me luck up there, as my plan goes education and studies come first, then fishing and well the other stuff that happens at college lol. So long Oshawa, hopefully setting up the internet doesn't take long...I need my OFC! Wish me luck, this should be fun! MTBF O also, what conservation areas are closest or inside of Lindsay, looking to do some volunteering with the local Conservation Authority like I have done here.
  11. Thanks for posting that Dan. Wonderful article and somebody on this forum deserves a applause. Good job Ryan, next event I will give whatever I can to help the cause and if I'm lucky come on out and do some fishing also. Spectacular job.
  12. Wow, that's a die hard Carp angling group right there! Lot's of carp man, wow!! Unreal job, somebody has to catch those things...You should of kept them all imagine how much food you would have in that freezer lol. Thanks for sharing, MTBF

  14. Sounds cool, I think the two from Gettin Hooked might of been on the same charter(most likely wrong) but if it was anything like there shar show then it's going to be a blast!
  15. Man, your asking for a entire thread of gear, what to and what not to do, proper release methods, why musky are the king fish, this that, rods reels...i hope u have some $$ or u will be breaking the laws of proper musky fishing.
  16. Sick man, I caught a walleye(smaller than yours) last year on a popper up on Seymour, man do they fight when they hit topwater! Thanks for sharing!! MTBF
  17. The last line always makes me understand most. I'll keep to this quote!
  18. Excellent job man! Carp are truly the kings of fishing freshwater fish! They never give up! Thanks for sharing, MTBF
  19. Ya, what Dan said. Get twitter, he still keeps contact when away!
  20. There's the science and the fighting. End it already, if a dozen more anglers go out and catch a pike or a muskie or a bass and give it a little more support and in the water time then that's a plus in my books. We can't chance what we have or have not done, all we can do is lookout for the future instead of living in the past. One thing that needs to stop of the removal of fish slime, don't put fish on grass or dirt or whatever, sometimes a wed dock or a wet boat carpet will eliminate slime removal but their only defense to bacteria is there slime.(at least I think) Let's get all of us to stop posting reports of fish covered in dirt and see more fish being held proudly and clean.
  21. Well I bought a small cooler today for my small livewell. Going to put it behind the back seat in my boat. It's 22" across or 24" from corner to corner...maybe 13" deep. Will do great! Going to pick up this kit from BPS in the fall some time. Not bad for 40bucks, pump, power hookup, pipe, and the hose. Looks like a good deal to me! http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/s...partNumber=1293 See any flaws? Only think I might buy separately would be some of that Velcro...unless those suction cups will hold on good.
  22. Agreed! Great report and Musky! Thanks for sharing, MTBF
  23. Nobody needs that many fish. Bring back a few maybe a fish or 2 per person and have a nice meal. Nothing that excessive should be allowed...question is, did they throw the fish in the garbage(waste) or did they give it back to the criminals...
  24. It wasn't luck that makes the fish bite it's using the right bait at the right times. Sometimes just throwing out any old lure will work. Go back and stay earlier or IMO a morning bite can work wonders. Gives the fish all night to cruise around in the silence, get out there at 5am then throw some topwaters around...*cough* Skitter Pop.
