  1. That 5 of dimonds Len Thomspson that i bought was only 4 bucks at CT, guess it was a good deal eh.
  2. First off let me say thanks a lot to all of the great info and sugestions of different lures to use for pike! So i got 3 spoons now. I'm going to be getting a spoon or spinner each weekend until i go so i have a good selection of baits to use. As for hard baits i got lots of HJ's, origional jointed and regular floater rapalas, x-raps etc. The yellow spoon is a Len Thompson with a Gold backing on it and the red and white is made by Danielson(could not find other brand)as well as the silver/blue Willams spoon...just to let ya know Also, should i be using a leader or a snap with these spinners/spoons?
  3. If people think we should be making the switch from lead then why not, my only question is do they sell non lead tube jigs?
  4. Sounds like it was a productive day out there, thanks for the update. I'll have to go there next year once i get some good waders.

  6. Why does nobody like the show. Sure he's not all professional but why the heck does a fishing show need to be all serious, again all about meeting locals(in there area) and having a good time out on the water...why not try to watch a few episotes eh http://www.lunkerville.com/watchshow.html

  14. Why are those Pike so HUGE! Great report!! Thanks for sharing.
  15. O ok, and yes this helped...i got lot's of memory anyway...I stick with the full 7MP's
  16. My little 7mega pixel digital camera has options where i can choose how many MP's i can use when taking a photo...when or why would i choose to use less MP's? Wouldnt this make the picture less clear?
  17. Might seem kinda funny but i have never used a spoon before. Looking at pictures of Pike (Ontario Angler Awards site) from GBay the lure many were caught on were different spons so when i head up there in late May I'm going to be sure to bring up a few with me. How should i fish these? The cottage I'm going to is in a lagoon type thing and then it opens up into a larger bay and from there the big GBay. Pike will be my target and well how should i fish these spoons? My guess was to cast it out, let fall for a few seconds then reel straight in
  18. O ok, i think i'll go over there some time this week and see if they can so a test for me.
  19. The CO's would be writing up tickets all day if they went to that causeway at Lake Scugog....to many times have i seen pails full of 6-12" bass like i mean 10-15 per container along with sunfish and perch...
  20. I asked the same question last spring and my dad went through the pain of filleting about 20 rock bass...now he wasn’t to happy to do it but i was happy to eat them, they were good but a bit boney.
  21. So it turns out that the motor my papa had was sold to one of his friends so i bought this motor of my uncle that he used on his boat, It's a little 30lb Thrust Minn Kota Endura...And i got the battery that was never used but stored in his basement for 3 or 4 years so I'm not to sure if it's any good. The motor has 5 forward speeds and 3 reverse and it looks great! Any guesses on the year of the motor(uncle is not the smartest guy and doesnt remember when he got it), and what kind of charger can I get for this battery? (Link and price if possible) Thanks again, Mike

  23. Ah great rain...meaing high fast moving dirty water....looks like i'll be out fishing some time next week i guess, unless the creek goes down a bit! As for bait for suckers, use something in a calm pool...like a worm on a jig or some gulp.
