Thanks for the response Mike.
This year I made the switch to 100# Seagaur premier flouro leader.
I was suprised how well it performed with smaller stick baits. It did not seem to impede the action of the bait and back to back uni knots worked well but......
We had 2 bite offs. 1 bite off I think the fish hit the mainline when attacking the bait. The other break off the fish engufed the bait head first but sliced through the 100# quite easily.
Where did you puchase the tieableTerminator leader? I cant seem to find it anywhere on line or in stores
Well done Mike
Looks like you guys got quality and quantity
I noticed in some of the pictures you are using flouro leaders.
Did you try the tieable titanium leaders ? Any review or comments about leader material ?
Thanks
Flipping jigs into trees and deep weeds for bass
Jerkbait fishing for smallies and pike
Ripping bucktail jigs for walleye
Topwater for bass
Skipping docks for bass
Float fishing frog water for steelhead
Got out on a Kawartha lake on Saturday.
Tough bite in the wind but we ended up boating 9 walleye, 3 small musky and a couple of OOS bass.
Very slow was the ticket. small grubs got bit
might get out for 1 more walleye trip this year
20# flouro is way to light
I wouldnt go less than 60# flouro for pike. I usually use 50# and have been bitten off a few times.
Obviously the pike at Bateau are a lot bigger than the ones that have bitten me off so its better to be safe than sorry
I used this stuff as well for a season to try it out as I recieved a couple of free samples.

At first I thought this stuff was amazing but I did not trust the knot. Anything over 40 # is very hard to tie.
Im going back to using 60-80# Seaguar premier flouro leader
I still have some packs left over.
Send me a P.M. and I can ship you some to see if you like it
