  5. Hey all. Just wondering if you are aloud to start fishing tonight after midnight as technically it is Sat. Let me know cause this itch needs to be scratched! Thanks.
  6. like i said in another post, it's now my kids bed time story so I know it...the reg's that is...
  7. I would but with my bad back I have a hard enough time doing my own at the cottage... yes, good point about the causeway too.
  8. good reminder.
  9. no worries. i've been reading it every day for the past few weeks as my bed time story to the kids... HAHAHA
  10. it's open for Perch and Crappie on the 4th Sat. in April, the 26th... info on pg 86 in the fishing ont 2008-2009 reg's. see ya on the Swa Creek Sat. those going out...
  11. Check LaBaron's site first to see if they have what you are after and its good place to pick up line at a good price too... Other option, clearance section at Wallyworld tends to have some hidden gems... *edit* not the new store though by Gagnon Sports.
  12. thanks kickingfrog.
  13. FYI, I just got an email from "The Crazy Fox Bistro" about this event. Hello: Yes there is another 'kids fishing day' this year. It happens on Sunday June 15th at the same location. Hope to see you there. Just watch the web site which should be updated very soon. Happy Fishing!
  14. thank you for the prompt reply!
  15. thanks kenny but I'm trying to find out about the one in Kempenfelt bay. I sent an email yesterday to the addy. above, now I wait...
  16. i just noticed something...the price match info is right on the front page of the fishing fever sale flyer...but I still want to know about the web price vs. store... if it was Steve (shaved head I think, well short hair) thanks Steve.
  17. I too would like to know considering there is a web price of $199.00 for an item that is $269.00 in store... I don't know the guys name but he helped me out a lot at the reel counter when the BPS baitcaster was on sale and you got a free rod. he was great considering the other guy I spoke to about 20 min prior had no clue. he told me way more and asked me a lot of questions to make sure I was getting what's right for me, so thanks! the only problem I have had is the Cast Control in the Extreme baitcaster I got is a P.I.A. to move. I need plyers to move it...
  18. i can see it now, all the $1.00 stores sold out of rubber snakes... HAHA
  19. thanks!
  20. thank you both. I tried to find anything with dates for this year so I can take my kids but only found the 06 and 07 stuff. if anyone finds the dates please let me know, thanks!
  21. hi all. Does anyone know if they are doing the Kids fishing day again in Barrie this year? Thanks.
  22. depends on how hard I drive my car but I get an average of 600KM per tank (60L tank) combined HWY and city. 2006 Subaru Impreza 2.5i, 4-door, 5-speed.
  23. thanks everyone!
  24. Hey folks. I need a battery for a Cuda 168 fishfinder. This is not a portable unit but I want to be able to take it in and out of the small boat any time. So I plan on checking the battery in a box in the boat to be removed when not in use. Any ideas what I should get? Oh and I'm not going to go with then over kill and bug $$ eaither... thanks...
  25. you sound like you know what you are going to do but need some justification from others to get your blessing. don't take offence but that's just how I read your post... if you don't go, are you going to resent your sister and nephew as they both can use your help? if you go, are you worried that this may not be the spark to get you going again and that you may want to go away for another year soon rather than a normal vacation? you've got some time to look at all you options and buy looking into it now is a good thing. open you tackle box and look at your fav. bass lure, can you go without that for another year? I only joke with that as this is OFC... Do what you want, feel is right for you and be happy with the end results. OR, heads you go tails you stay....
